I'll watch the insanely hard game if I'm not doing anything important or at work :P
Why should we do the right thing?

Am I a bad guy trying to be good, or a good guy trying to convince himself that he's not the bad guy?

So, I livestreamed Surgeon Simulator 2013 for Scarab and Guyshane :D
I probably can't fit the timing for most people, so I'll be recording and then leaving it up for people to see my amazing surgery madskillz. The uh, timing put there is a placeholder.

https://new.livestream.com/accounts/473 ... ts/2256694 - where I spend 20 minutes trying to figure out unsuccessfully how to take out the kidneys and end abruptly by the sudden return of my father home. :P

Guys I have it on good authority that Agora's voice is adorable :P

Yes, true, but it's especially adorable when he's cutting open peoples ribcages to remove their hearts and/or kidneys.

I'm always up for a hammy livestream. I'd like if the stream would not be too late, meaning preferable not starting after midnight UCT+1.
Also when will your schedule be up? :P

My own efforts to run a livestream are being constantly thwarted by either livestream refusing to run in Game mode, or being laggy as hell in screen mode, so you guys might have to wait a while...

Righto, I am constructing my schedule right now. In the mean time, a poll of sorts involving my Dark Souls LP. As I will be starting fresh, I can make a totally new build, so here is the question: What should said build be? I've got a couple of ideas, so here are the options.

I can run with a Dex build somewhat like the one you guys saw me starting to form in the original streams. If I do this, I think you all know what weapons I will be wielding. Katanas all the way. ^_^ Four of them, to be exact. All four katanas in the game. Including the Chaos Blade, which hurts you for every successful hit. I just started to figure out a working build to use it, so that will be very interesting to try and use in game.

On the other hand, I could go for an Int build and start wielding more sorceries, which I have only dabbled into in previous LPs. This would be new to me, so I'd kinda have to figure things out as I went.

Finally, I could go for a Strength/Faith greatsword wielding build, as greatswords are not something I've really used at ALL in previous LPs, and neither are miracles. I would have pretty much no clue what I was doing for a bit, but with a little luck, I'd probably end this one dressed as Artorias.

So, which path do you think I should take?

"Dressed as Artorias."

So is the Int build, actually, as I have never raised that stat high enough for my magics to deal out much good damage.

To be fair, it is up against swapping between four katanas on whim (Yes, including dual wielding, because katanas actually parry in the offhand) and danmaku laser-spam.

Divine Claymore dude. I did that and it's very awesome at +10.

The key to remember though is that if you go with a faith build strength and dex stop mattering as much. Get them to around 16-18 and stop (or whatever you need to equip the weapon), and just focus on faith instead. The scaling for divine weapons relies way more on faith than strength or Dex.
If you ever need to ask the questions "Am I needed? Should I help them?" The answer is always yes. Always.

Ah, but you see, if I don't get strength, I cannot dress as Artorias. Furthermore, I am a primarily melee fighter. No matter what I do, there will be a melee component because honestly, that's the part I'm really good at. Therefore, miracles would be of a support nature, healing, buffing, and adding on extra damage when I get an opening, rather than my primary means of combat. I will probably wield some divine weapons, but I do intend to get at least enough strength to get Artorias' stuff.

Artorias armor has no strength requirement (no armor does), you could have 8 strength and still wear his armor XP You will need high endurance to wear it and be able to run around, though, since it's fairly heavy. And if you're gonna be raising strength, then I suggest just +15 your weapon, a divine weapon with low faith is just hurting your damage.

His swords on the other hand, require high strength, Dexterity, Faith AND intelligence. So if you want to cosplay as artorias you're gonna need a load up on all those stats.

The 4 katana build is pretty easy to pull together actually. Unless you put extra points into Strength, you will have to two-hand Monohoshizao, but give it a lightning +5 and strap the Grass Crest Shield on your back and you will not be disappointed. The Iaito +15 is my main weapon of choice just because I can spam the strong attacks with that one, since the timing flows naturally enough for me to draw and slide past charging opponents before they can touch me, and with 40 Dex, that REALLY packs a punch. The Chaos Blade, especially two handed, can give some greatsword like damage output, but the strong attacks require extremely careful timing and without 10 humanity points, it falls behind a bit. Plus, it eats 20 HP every successful strike, and also when you hit a falling body mid-dying animation, for whatever reason. Keep it to a single strike per enemy, and wear the Ring of the Evil Eye, which refunds 30 HP a kill, though... Plus, you can parry and backstab with it all you want without taking damage, and I've had a really good time with it in PvP. The Uchigatana can be pretty much used however you want, and I'm considering using it in the offhand with the Iaito and giving it a fire upgrade just so I can be nasty and deal physical AND elemental damage at once.

Yes, and his greatshield requires 34 strength, and if I get that, I will have to settle for the Abyss sword until I NG+ to get another Sif soul, and the Abyss sword unfortunately only scales to Strength and Dex.

That would be tempting, but I know I can never make a character that is as awesome as the real Tarkus. XD

Second part of Surgeon Simulator stream up! Seriously, I must be a masochist, because this game is FRUSTRATING :P Maybe after I finish this game, I'll get AmpuTea (similar, but using a prosthetic arm to make TEA) or maybe play Limbo of the Lost, because I enjoy torturing myself.

Well, I can't even find a single download link. All the torrents are dead and the few links that exist are... dodgy, to say the least. So, yeah, I can't even find it XD

I think I am about ready to begin Dark Souls stream version 2.0, guys. What say you to watching the intro level and first bit in an hour or so from now?
