I have Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 3DS. I'm awesome at MKWii but I suck at MK3DS... Aaaaanywaaay

Both games can be played online. So I was thinking maybe if there's more people with those games maybe we can race eachother? Exchange friend codes n stuff? And if you don't have Mario Kart Wii, maybe you could maybe buy it (maybe?). There's probably retail versions that are pretty cheap >_<

I'm having a bit of trouble racing Worldwide right now (for some reason?), but I can get on the Nintendo Network just fine. Weird huh

It appears the easiest way to host races among ourselves is to create a group. To that end, I have done so. The name is "Metaguards" and the community code is 12-4640-1327-2585.

I guess I need to get mariokart then >_>

I might get it if we can get a big enough group for it But on its own it's not my kind of game

Actually I'm having some trouble racing online with my 3DS. This means that even if you guys get the game, I might not be able to race with you

My Wii version works better online though

I'll have to see if I can get time to play my Wii or 3DS when folks are available. As everyone knows, my time is not my own. But if I can scrounge up some time... my 3DS friend code is 3050-7798-6353, and my Wii is 1531-1253-8723-1191, and my Mario Mart Wii code is 0559-7411-4619.

I'm not in top form, of course, but I still have a few tricks up my sleeve.

I've been thinking about having a Competition with all you guys, but we'd kinda need to plan that. Would it be possible in about a week?

First, that quoted part is was happens when your phone's autocorrect doesn't recognize the word "kart." I have since corrected this.

I just threw my Wii code on there in case folks were interested. My MKWii code is all that's required.

Thinking about it, how about we try for next Saturday, July 13, at 3 PM Eastern? That'd be 8 PM for Rota, and 11 AM for anyone on the US west coast - it's one of the few times that I think it could be swung without having someone up at an ungodly hour.

I probably should get some practice in - it's been a few years since I've played.

I could definitely make that. I think.

Yeah, that Saturday would work well for me, actually I think 3pm EST is 9pm my time, though. But no matter, I can still make that I'll edit the topic title.

Oh, right, we'really doing the 3DS version for the community. Momentarily forgot and was prepping for the Wii version.
