there's a bit of foreshadowing at the beginning with a feather.

I'm pretty sure its a nonstandard noodle incident, what with the first dialogue of the scene being "RUBY! I TOLD YOU THIS WAS A TERRIBLE IDEA!"

The fight scene was awesome enough that I lost all feeling from the neck up.

But damn that was one hell of a Wham Episode, I wonder if the show will continue with more reveals like that.

I know it will never happen and a lot of people would be mad if it DID, but I think it would be so interesting if Jaune didn't succeed and got kicked out of Beacon after they found out about what he did. I mean, that would be a HELL of a twist! Nobody would see it coming honestly.

I know, right? Bout time we've gotten some BAMF!Jaune after all this whump. Cardin's humbled just enough to not try this again, Jaune's willing to trust Pyrrha and his team again, we learn a little about Pyrrha's abilities, and Jaune slays an Ursa (nearly) all by himself. This was a good episode.

Okay... This episode came very much out of left field. Someone please tell me I'm not the only one who didn't see this coming...

Dunno. It's been hinted at quite a bit, so I'd imagine a good chunk of the fan base had "I Knew It" moments, but it's nice to get confirmation, and the way in which is was revealed was (I think) pretty good.

Eyes.

Plus the exposition on the faunans as a kind of people that live with non-animal-like humans. So, uhm, yeah. Like. Norm for the setting to have kind-of-animal people running around. Plus eyes, plus she replied the thing about night vision and whatnot, so yeah, cat eyes.

Don't blame me for being a cat person that can recognize catgirl features from halfway across the world. @_@

There was also a blink-and-you-miss it moment in episode 8 where the bow twitches, hinting at the ears.

And it is bloody awesome as hell. Seriously the fight in this is amazing so are the two new weapons.

I mean, like, seriously. Dual gun-chucks-chain-staff? Plus monkey? Mounty Oum has played Samurai Warriors. That is a fact.

Though props to Roman for parrying that onslaught with a friggin' cane.

For the record, I called Penny as being a robot/Pinocchio from her first appearance.

That being said, Sun and Penny's weapons are awesome, I'm pretty sure Blake's Semblance is those afterimages, and Roman Torchwick is a cocky bastard.

Me too! That girl was totally a robot. Taking everything too literally, being combat-ready and everything. She might be my favorite character.

For the record, I not only called her being a robot girl, I also realized she was a reference to BlazBlue's Murakumo units before the first sword even came out of her back. XD
