100 Hundred years prior to the story, humanity lives in peace behind gigantic walls living in a medieval environment. The walls are meant to protect them from an enemy known as the Titans, gigantic humanoid creatures who appeared and attacked and killed humans without rhyme or reason. Although relatively in peace, it is disrupted when the walls are suddenly breached by a 60 Meter Titan and his Armored partner, being the tallest titans known at the time. As a young Eren and Mikasa watch their mother be killed and eaten by a Titan, Eren swears revenge and joins the military in order to seek answers and defeat the Titans once and for all.

The Manga was a hit when released and its anime counterpart is becoming a phenomenon among the anime industry, steadily gaining popularity, especially in Asian countries. Critics have praised the series for its extremely violent, gory, and dark tone and a live film adaptation is in the works. The series has also attracted controversy almost as much as critical acclaim.

I was wondering if any metaguards have seen this show and if so, what their view is on it?

I watched the first episode of the anime, and it seems very interesting so far.
Dolphins are some of the smartest animals, yes, but by human standards… Let's say you should praise the god that forces them to stay handless and underwater.

I've seen what the titans look like in this show. They are pretty freaky.

Double posting/Necroing because I've been watching this show for the past week or two and just caught up on Ep 22.

This show is a mix of:
* Amazing
* Sad
* Awesome
* Insane
* Fun
And has
* Great characters that you really care about
* and a great plot too

Yeah I just made a whole post gushing about it. :gurt:

Now if you haven't watched it yet. Go do it now!

Mimsy and I will be possibly livestreaming a LAN session of the SnK game today or tomorrow. Anyone interested?

Normal people are the easiest to manipulate. Too smart and they have an annoying tendency to catch wind of your plans, too dumb and, in the words of a certain pirate, "You can never tell when they are about to do something incredibly...stupid."
