May I ask what class it was?

Calculus I.
Also tomorrow is my first test (it's on a different subject). On one hand, it's the hardest subject and everyone who has already done it said everyone does horrible on the first test. On the other I think it might be worth about 1% of my grade for the class. I have mixed, anxious, feelings about it.

Well, it began 13:31 and I finished it at 21:31. Because the guy we had to give it to was leaving, so I had no other option.
I actually only answered a single question out of six, but I at least wrote everything for other four of them. The one I did and the one I didn't were actually in this week's... homework. And the one I didn't no one else managed to do then. Dunno if someone managed it during the test, because there was actually another question that if answered was halfway through the other's answer.
Anyways, my plan this weekend is to study hard

Studying hard is the key to success for pretty much most of the world throughout history, so yeah, study!

Hi Inukai, it's been a while since I last checked the forums, but I believe most of us are pretty active on twitter. :p
So, how's it going?

Today was my first funeral

I was young when I attended my first funeral.
I don't remember it too well, other than a vague inkling that I was probably bored and had no idea how to pass the time, and a brief look at my grandfather's casket.

I've attended 3 funerals already:
-My paternal grandfather, who died of lung cancer.
-My uncle, who died at lung cancer at 50 years old...too soon.
-My maternal grandmother, who loved me very much and always gave me snacks.
I'll miss them all.

I've only been to my great-grandmother's funeral. I was upset that I didn't cry. Weird.

My great-aunt, and my maternal grandfather.
It's looking like my paternal grandfather will be joining that list soon.

Dryu linked me to something.
https://www.reddit.com/r/9M9H9E9/commen ... erview_of/WARNING: contained therein are snippets of fiction based around, among other things, LSD and body horror. Not for the faint of heart. If I were most people, I would've thrown up quite a bit by now. As it is, I'm currently experiencing mild bouts of paranoia and that usual needles-piercing-every-vulnerable-spot-on-my-body sensation that comes with reading or hearing about drugs. It's very uncomfortable.
It's ARG-ish and reminds me of Phillip K. Dick stuff, so I decided it was worth a link. It may not, however, be worth a read.

Very...interesting.
As a history major, this is pretty good. I flinched a little when he mentioned that the Soviet designated areas of the Ukraine as "harvest populations". For a moment I thought he was referring to the Holodomor, or the Ukraine Famine of 1932-33, until I read the rest. The sequences from Vietnam are played out very well and clearly, as well as the ones in the Pacific Theater. The sheer hatred of the Nazis towards Jews, Gypsies, every other "undesirable" is very well communicated too, even though it's truly horrendous to view people that way.
But then again, multiple timelines, multiple universes. Different stories, spanning across history and time and space, all playing out at once, slowly forming a jigsaw.
Fascinating!
