Rota, if you're going to ask for pet pictures, you should oblige by posting one first. :P

I think you guys are already familiar with my two cats. Though in general, I love animals. I even wirked at an animal hospital and a pet dtore during high school. I'm familiar with care for an astounding number of pets.

Though I'm not at all fond of potbellied pigs. They're jerks.
I smiled when the wall was built, for I knew we were creating something incredible. And I smiled when it cracked, for the world would soon see what we had wrought.

My family has a beagle. He's awesome and adorable.

It looks like Coffee has a white patch on the chest, but I'm not sure. I also see a bit more brown fur on Brownie, but again, I can't really tell. Either way, they're ADORABLE.
The voices in my head tell me that we saved the world. However, they also told me that George Clooney's face is on the dollar bill, so... meh. The voices are more fun, anyway.

I don't have any pets of my own, so I offer up the next best thing: the "strays" that my aunt took in after the neighbors left them behind, which she's named Tabby, Scruffy, and Grey. She keeps them around to get rid of mice and other pets and in return she gives them a "home." You know, because they're strays and she's not gonna keep them if they don't hunt and she's not at all attached to them, no sirree.

One of her stipulations is that they're gone if they have kittens, but they're either fixed or all one gender, 'cause it's been about 2 years and there aren't any little ones running about. I pretty much call them all 'her' (except Scruffy - I sometimes call her a 'him' since she looks a lot like a male lion).

Actually, Coffee's wearing my old undershirt when it gets cold. Brownie's got more brown fur-Coffee's got mostly light fur.

Pictures will come in time, though I suppose talking about Lyra would be relevant here so...

Pixel's disastrous life as a cat owner, in summary.

After I saw a tweet by Pixel I remember I had this photo on my phone I failed to tweet before, so I tried again and it worked. Here he is:

Image

His name's Manuelito (used to be Manuelita until my parents told me he was male :P I myself never was sure as a kid, but the name is a reference to a movie and it's Manuelita in the original, so...). He... Doesn't do much. Just wanders around, eats food, stays in a corner and peeks/sniffs at who is back there.

Bonus:

Image

The cat that a neighbor took to live in the parking lot. He's blind (or mostly blind, I don't know), prefers to sleep on the floor rather than that cat-sleeping thing my neighbor bought for him and recently spends most of his time sleeping (can't blame him, it's hot as hell outside and I myself haven't seen any pidgeons going to the parking lot recently, which he has tried to hunt but they are faster than him, or just run away before he can see). I have put some milk in a container for him... Three times total, I should do it more but I never know where that damn thing is kept in here and I pet him on occasion. His name... I think my neighbor calls him Zézinho (equivalent to Little Joe, I believe, as far as unstranslatable names go), while me (and possibly my father) call him Cruel (which I believe is pretty self-explanatory in both languages). My father initially called him that, and I think it might be a reference to The Smurfs... ? I have no idea why he gave that name to the cat, and I think I overheard the cat in the Smurf's movie being called Cruel, at least in the dub, so I assume it's possible there's a relation.
