Since the first lynch will be pretty much random anyway, I'll withhold my vote for now, and will draw my conclusions later. Note that this tactic won't work if you follow along, so go ahead and murder somebody.

@Dryu: You could always vote no-lynch.

As someone who has played Mafia games in the past, lynching somebody the first day is basically pointless, and ruins the fun for the person who got lynched, since they never get a chance to play.

As such, for the sake of everybody having fun, I vote "No Lynch", and I urge you all to vote that way as well.

Omagah guys! Our plan is to watch who votes for who during the lynchtime, so that we can find out who's guilty. If we all keep voting no-lynch, we won't have any information to work with, and the mafia will kill somebody at night anyway.

If things get too peaceful, I'll be forced to take a wild guess.

One reason to lynch someone is that the odd-even pattern in games like this matters. Odd number during a day round so there's less chance of a tied vote, even number during a night round and then someone is killed and there's an odd number again for the next day round.

Then again, if the Doctor successfully protects someone, it'll throw off the balance anyway.

Also: the more day rounds go by without lynching anyone, the more the game balance is tipped in the Mafia's favor. If someone dies during the day there's a chance it will be a Mafia member, but if someone dies at night we know for sure it'll be an innocent.

Obviously you haven't played with Mafia that will intentionally work against each other during the day to throw suspicion off of themselves, and who will intentionally kill one of themselves during the night to mess with people.

Working against each other during the day? Sure, seen that plenty of times. Voting to lynch a Mafia member is a great way to allay suspicion, after all.

Killing each other at night, I'll admit, is not a strategy I've encountered.

The mafia only have 2, at most 3 people, they can't afford to throw them around like that.
