Okay. My second Mafia round, lemme see if I can do better than last time. Tohr's move might not seem smart at first but it allows us, Townies, to lynch off someone without risking it being a power role, since at Day 1 chances of hitting Mafia are unlikely. In our case, I'm assuming we have a 4-6 Mafia. 6 would mean Mafia wins after today's lynch, 5 after today's lynch and tonight's kill. So I almost feel safe enough to say we have 4 Mafia, as our current number of 12 players would result in 6 Mafia = 6 Townies = Mafia Victory, and if we had 5 Mafia tomorrow would start as 5 Mafia = 5 Townies = Mafia Victory (Anura did changes the rules to that, no?).
But very well. I'd rather overestimate an enemy and be overprepared than underestimate and underprepare. 5 Mafia until we have a confirmation tomorrow. Also, I'll count myself as unkwnown when talking about who is siding with whom, because that's my status for everyone else.
Starting with the Mafia kill: Xana. Last player to vote, didn't even know the game had started (according to himself in the chatroom). The least conspiscuous target, raises less suspicion because he didn't seem to plot in any direction (sans "Kill Sicon") and keeps everyone else and their plotting on the game to distract us from the Mafia.
Now, the lynching.
The Mafia can't PM each other during the day. So if they did, they are cheaters and losers. If there was any coordinated act during Day 1 it was Masonry. But the Mafia know each other, so they could simply support each other without discussing anything we couldn't see or rather avoid themselves and support other people to drag them along in "suspiciously coordinated" territory.
Tohr's move to lynch herself may or not have been given much thought by her, but as I said at the beggining, I consider it to be a very smart move. Specially when it dragged so many people along, I could even say she's sided with the Masons, as they could think it up together and put the plan in motion (though that would mean one of the Masons died, and I don't like that). But dumb luck, and Mafiosi seeing an easy target trying to kill itself for no apparent reason can easily help too.
Narra agrees to lynch Tohr. Russ says we lynch Narra. Then, it starts.
Krika says we lynch Narra. And look,
someone else agrees. If Tohr was trying to fake us out by being Mafia, and voting to kill herself to make us think she's not Mafia, voting to kill Narra is just random.
Random chance, perhaps?Dryu goes for Qara. Jack goes for Tohr. Dryu raises the point the Masons should be kept in secret or else they'd be targeted by the Mafia. Sophira raises a point that I myself would follow in Day 1, but she herself even points out the problems with it. Pixel goes for Jack. Qara goes for Tohr.
Recap: Tohr, Narra, Qara, Jack against Tohr. Russ, Krika against Narra. Pixel against Jack. Dryu against Qara. I feel it's relevant to point out Dryu went for Qara with apparent randomness, because it was before Qara even acted once.
Endless makes a vote possibly aiming for a tie, or if not, Jack. Last game he and Jack were against each other, so I assume that's what Endless wanted to refer to. Eli goes for Endless, who confirms his vote against Narra.
Following we have a conversation. I personally don't know if I'm supposed to take anything from it. Logically, I assume it certainly can give me lots of information because of its casualty, but I right now I fail to extract said information. Except Dryu's focus on trying to understand the Masons and their numbers.
Sophira goes for me.
Anura mentions the Miller. And that's all. We have no confirmation if there's a Miller in the game, I'd say no. I abstain from voting because illness. Sophira apologizes in the chat and tells me she wanted a vote that'd be meaningless, since I had no previous votes on me and other people had many. Looking back I should've pointed out she would have had to tell me that in this thread because of the rules. Eli changes her vote for me, I think.
Recap: Tohr, Narra, Qara, Jack against Tohr. Russ, Krika, Endless against Narra. Pixel against Jack. Dryu against Qara. Sophira, Eli against me. I abstain from voting.
More casual conversation. Sicon says he totally was planning to not attract attention to himself and didn't forget the game at all. He also votes against himself. Tohr changes her vote, this time against Sicon. Sicon changes his vote for Russ. Tohr changes her vote back to against herself. Russ changes her vote to Tohr. Xana votes against Sicon.
Final result: Tohr, Narra, Qara, Jack, Russ against Tohr. Krika, Endless against Narra. Pixel against Jack. Dryu against Qara. Sophira, Eli against me. Sicon against Russ. Xana votes against Sicon. I abstain from voting.
Now I'm wondering what's the chance of the Cop and/or the Doctor being Masons. I don't know if Anura would make the game that easy for Townies. I'll assume no. So, to conclude, I'll say my personal opinion on the results:
Tohr - Town, probably Mason, Dead
Narra - Unknown, maybe Mason or Mafia who knew Tohr was Town
Qara - Unknown, maybe Mason or Mafia who knew Tohr was Town
Jack - Unknown, maybe Mason or Mafia who knew Tohr was Town
Russ - Unknown
Krika - Unknown, probably Mafia
Endless - Unknown
Pixel - Unknown
Dryu - Unknown
Sophira - Unknown
Eli - Unknown
Sicon - Unknown
Xana - Town, probably not a power role, Dead
Victin - Unknown
All unknown are suspicious, for different reasons, and I think I made some clear, and I thought the others were clear enough on their own that they didn't need to be said. Narra-Jack-Qara is either a group you want dead or alive, but we can't be sure if they are Town or Mafia. I highly suspect we have 2-4 Masons for balancing reasons. Out of 14 players, 4 were Mafia, 1 was Cop and another was Doctor. That leaves 8 players.
If a Mason can't be a Cop or a Doctor, that is. If one's a Cop, that'd be really, really useful. Since I think 4 Masons would be as many as Mafia, as I think it'd highly overpower us (though that's underestimating the enemy, and as I said at the beginning, problematic) because 4 Masons = 4 Mafia, and 2 Masons would be highly unnefective, I estimate 3 Masons. One being Tohr, who's dead, which would mean we have two other Masons. But three people other than Tohr voted for her, which makes me assume at least one of them is a Mason. Alternatively, the Masons might've decided to sacrifice Tohr but never voted for her, leaving the Mafia to expose themselves by voting against someone they knew wasn't Mafia.
But I can't know, so I'll end this wall of text in a very abrupt way: I say we lynch Krika.
Dolphins are some of the smartest animals, yes, but by human standards… Let's say you should praise the god that forces them to stay handless and underwater.
