I'm going to go with narra and vote for Anura, on the same grounds as yesterday. He seems desperate.

Rick, what did you make the counts of the first lynching out to be? Because I'm noticing some inconsistencies with what people voted and how you counted them. Notably, Krika did not vote for Pixel, but Victin. Would Pixel have been lynched if the vote had been counted as posted?

(Although I do realise - as in, I realise after I posted this - that it might not have mattered in this case since Pixel was leaving anyway. But I think it's still worth bringing up.)

Yeah, keeping track of the votes can be tricky because there is a grace period to change them before they're locked down. Qara also flipped her vote - twice, no less. As for the vote coming down the way it did - keep in mind that, as announced, the mayoral tie-breaker was involved (Pix and Anura each received three public votes). Something different may or may not have actually happened if not for Krika's last-minute vote flip.

Anura's seething anger is perhaps deserved. As the townsfolk march him towards the gallows, not even bothering to read the mayor's missive, he knows his pleas for innocence will fall on deaf ears. And as his body swings lifelessly, everything found in his home calls truth to what he said - Anura was one of the town.

Night falls, and private messages are sent to me.

Day breaks, and nine people shuffle into the meeting hall, fearful and grim. As the town clock chimes, everyone slowly realizes that one person is missing.

Back at her home, Sophira's eyes are rolled back, her tongue swollen, hand clutching a glass whose contents spilled onto the floor and evaporated during the night. Sophira was killed, an innocent townie victim to this plague of death.

Okay I think we should lynch Eli next because she's being annoying and clearly lacks dedication to the violent eradication of Mafia in our midst.

Well, I'm back from my little stroll into the country which was not at all mysterious. You guys are really not good at this lynching business, are you? The point is to stop people dying by making people die. You're just... making lots more people die.

Yes, and in order to stop making people die, I vote to make eli die.

This is sickening. People are dying, and instead of trying to do something about it, you want to murder the one person who has been soundly against killing people from the start. What kind of twisted logic is that?

Dilly is the monster who suggested killing eli instead of looking for someone who actually might be guilty, so as a preventative measure I vote Dilly.

I didn't mean to be annoying. I didn't murder anyone either. But I don't advocate murder, even to save myself, so I abstain from voting.
