Well, maybe we should talk to the coroner about this. Unless we ran him out of town last week for witchcraft. Was that him or the banker?

Guys, guys. What's important is we need to kill somebody. Otherwise how will we demonstrate that it's not okay to kill people?

We've got some valuable land here, and out in these parts? The mafia's got their claws in every town.

Now, I'm not saying we should go around and start killing people. But we've got to do something about this. And I've gotta admit, Anura seems pretty desperate to make himself seem friendly.

What about people who have only posted once?

If you go by that logic, you might just as well kill me get it over with. You would, however, be making a mistake. :)

The problem with this logic is every time people who have only posted "once" post again to defend their innocence, your number goes up.

EDIT: The problem with this logic is that it doesn't seem very much like logic.

I should post a vote tally to date, with bold representing the current vote leader.

Victin voted to lynch Qara.
Narra voted to lynch Pix.
Russet voted to lynch Anura.
Qara voted to lynch Anura.
Krika voted to lynch Pix.
Dryunya voted to lynch Tohr.
eli has voted to not lynch.
Pix has voted to not lynch.
Anura voted to lynch Pix.
Endless voted to lynch Krika.
Tohr voted to lynch Anura.
Soph voted to lynch Endless.
Blur voted to lynch Victin.

At 9:23 PM EDT tomorrow, July 11, I will close the voting. If you have any last-minute changes, they must be made by then.

I'll give a 24-hour warning either after every player has voted or by Saturday at 6 PM local time. That will be the last chance to change minds about voting before everything's locked in. Keep in mind that in the event of a tie, nobody will be lynched; you may or may not wish to plan your vote accordingly.

Could you please consider me out of this match? I'm not inclined to continue playing and scheming to get myself voted out would require continuing to play.

Changing my vote to Pix, too.

We all should, as a community service and so we can actually kill someone.

Honestly, I can only think of one person who would have committed such a heinous crime: Gerald, from Accounting. I always knew he had something to hide.

Which means he's been using a false name! Gah, I'm so going to kill him when I find out who it is.

Endless Sea... hmm, that sounds like the sort of name he'd use. Is that you?

(meta-wise: Please let's not vote for Pixel. Why? Because if Pixel is going to leave the game, then he's quite obviously not going to be Mafia. And a vote for a player that's leaving is a no-op in any case, because either way they're out of the game. As Dryunya has stated before, not killing anybody can only ever be good for the Mafia, not for the Townies - unless your aim is to get details on who gets killed next.)

Why should we do the right thing?
-Well... because it's the right thing to do, there's no other good reason.

Am I a bad guy trying to be good, or a good guy trying to convince himself that he's not the bad guy?

As the vote comes it, it appears that there's a tie at first, with the residents split between voting against Anura and Pix... but then...

But then...

Word comes in from the center of town. The mysterious Mayor, who is probably in this room. They have exercised their executive power... and in shock, poor Pixelmage is led to the edge of town, pleas falling on deaf ears.

As the town sadly picks through his possessions, they see signs of a poetic soul, one who was hoping to strike it rich through making a claim... but no signs of mafia membership. He was, to the end, a member of the town.

Night falls; I expect the results of nighttime doings in PM.

As the morning sun rises, people wander in to town. However, only 11 seats are filled at the meeting hall. Exchanging panicked looks, everyone rushes out to confirm their greatest fears.

Crashing through the locked door, the townspeople find the corpse of Krika, who left a bloody trail across his dining room floor. A half-eaten bowl of soup sits on the table, and his lifeless body lays near the stove, blood pooling from the mouth. It doesn't take long to ascertain that Krika was also a member of the town, the latest victim of the proceedings.

Okay, so the first lynching may not have solved anything, and we may have only made things worse. But I say that we need to do something to avenge this most foul and unnatural murder. Krika was probably killed because he knew too much. The Mafia must have been afraid he was onto something. I move that we lynch Vic.

I'm regretting my vote yesterday and thinking I should've gone for Anura.

So I'll rectify that now. Let's lynch Anura.

Sorry about yesterday, the shock of the murder made me forget to take my meds. Can't believe none of you tried to remind me...

Russ, I disagree about Vic. His analyses are too valuable to the town to lose. Even if they're fabricated, there might be some truth buried in there if we look closely enough.

I'm going to initially cast my vote for Qara again. Not only did she not tell me to take the damn meds, she used my unfortunate state to try and implicate me. Very nearly worked, too. Most likely I wasn't killed last night to make me look even more guilty.

@Endless: I think that eli is in on it as well; he and Qara seemed pretty tight.
