OK. So. Normally I would say No-Lynch, since we have an odd number of players and our chances would be significantly improved by having an even number during the day phase. This is an unusual game, so that's not going to cut it here.

So, vampires can't win on just a majority. They need to completely subvert the whole town. We know that there's only one at the moment, and any vote made now would be essentially random and has only a 9% chance of hitting it, with a higher chance of hitting a Scientist or Doctor. Then again, we might also get Typhoid Mary out of the way... if she's even in play... argh.

I vote narra 'cause she's at the top of the player list.

Uh... At the moment the chance of hitting the vampire is pretty small. And if any of the other special roles are in play, I think you're more likely to hit an useful one rather than a negative/neutral one. Well, technically hitting a neutral one is about as likely, but I don't know if that would be a good thing.

I would vote for Anura... but I just gave a justification of why I don't think we should lynch anyone on the first day, so I'm not going to unless something happens before the end of the day.

If we don't act now, we'll lose more people to the plague. Someone must die.

Even hitting a useful person lowers the amount of vampires that can be created. Yeh lets off a Vic. Sorry guy. Or possibly vampire.

But offing a regular person increases the overall percentage of vampires in our population.

Victin doesn't deserve to due. Actually, no one DESERVES to die... Can't we arrange some sort of peaceful co-existence with blood-sucking monsters? They're not that different from us.

There's not enough evidence to suggest who -could- be a vampire, and reducing the pool of possible humans would only further a vampire's efforts.

Oh yeah, sorry, I'm going for majority to determine any result, and if there's no clear majority once everyone's voted then I will give you a warning before declaring it no-lynch. Currently, the vote is open for a while longer because not everyone has checked in for the start of the game.

Okay, it's been a while, and the thread's been dead for a full day, so I am declaring the first Day round ends tonight unless there's a major shift in votes (i.e., a majority approaches on one player). If you want to change it from no-lynch, get your votes in! (Or if you want to make it a no-lynch sooner than midnight, we're short a couple votes on majority for that).
