Check out the beginning of this thread, guys, Pixelmage has compiled us a PLAYLIST :D

It's here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL ... PWFhWEAgTU

Well, since it's on youtube, only I can update it. So, Post links here people! I'll be checking and updating often, but I might miss stray links.

If you notice duplicates in there, PM me and I'll fix it.

And make sure you post song links. Instead of saying "add Metallica", choose a couple songs and link them here to me.

I also included the RP BGMs in there, so I'm sure there's a lot of songs those not involved haven't heard yet.

There's supposedly a 200 video limit per playlist on youtube, if (when? ;) ) we reach that we just open Vol 2 and work from there. :D

Also, the link is not to auto-play, so just click a random video in there and make sure to shuffle the list to get the most out of the different styles! There's classical music in there sitting along Violin/Dubstep combos! :gurt:

...Well, you all clearly need some work in the musical theatre department.
*rubs palms together*
What have I got here?...

First of all, I Have Confidence (from Sound of Music) is just too easy not to mention.

I think One Jump Ahead from Aladdin fits us pretty well.

Some of the fictionals' unwillingness to recognize their situation evokes comparison to All I Ever Wanted from Prince of Egypt.

Although it's not about a death, Goodbye George from She Loves Me fits our overall sentiments at Tara's death (and when Metaguards leave us).

And I don't think anything can convey Quixote's determination to avenge Tara better than Brand New Day from Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.

(I avoided songs from Phantom, Wicked, and Wizard of Oz because even though there are some good ones in there, it's too easy when we've got characters from those shows walking around.)

And on the non-musical theatre front, I'm constantly being put in mind of Simon and Garfunkel's Slip Sliding Away.
And Deanna makes me think of a cross between Evanescence's Everybody's Fool and Joni Mitchell's Raised on Robbery.

...You're welcome. (And sorry if some of these links are no good; I don't have sound right now, so I just kind of guessed.)
Lead by example. Get lost in a swamp.

Updated.

Can't add Raised on Robbery. It discriminates brazilians! (Youtube blocked content for my country! ) <-- Fixed, found a link to it that let's me add it.

On Everybody's Fool, do you mind if I replace the video for one without that pizza opening so that it goes straight to the song?

Here are some of my suggestions:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BIjCW2_Uik Break On Through to the Other Side. Mostly because it involves breaking, and this is about the 4th wall breaking, so...*shrug*
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RI7y7ZkkOJs Beatdown from Homestuck; don't know how it'd fit, but it's awesome and it should be on here.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK6TXMsvgQg And of course, the Benny Hill theme, for all of those silly moments. :gurt:

(Apologies if people've already suggested these)

Updated.

Also, guys, it's not about finding the song that describes the ARG, such a thing does not exist!
Got some awesome music you enjoy and would like to share? Post it!
Found a song that makes you think of events in here? Post it!

Might as well Beatdown Round 2, because it is equally awesome: http://www.youtube.com/watchv=WZXTh2Qol6c&feature=relmfu

All right, I've decided not to limit myself to English songs, because Teapacks are REALLY GREAT.
Sometimes the coffee room (and us in general) makes me think of סמי וסמו (Sami and Somu).
But my favourite song of theirs (well, my favourite one is apparently not on youtube. at all. It's called Hayamim Ha'acherim, if you feel like looking for it, but I'm pretty sure it's not there. So my second favourite, which is also BEAUTIFUL--) is התחנה הישנה (Hatachana Hayeshena-- The Old Bus Station).

Enjoy, if you dare!

Edit: and I can't believe I forgot to mention, as both a reaction to character death and just as an AMAZING song in general, Simon and Garfunkel's A Most Peculiar Man.

(I still don't have sound. So those links might not be any good. Sorry, Pixel.)

I'm thinking that we add something like "The Day the Spambots Died" to the playlist, or the TF2 theme, for entering and meeting each other. I was thinking we add the "Meet the..." theme for whenever we met a new character, and a whole bunch of MLP music for the MLP thread. I was also thinking we could add some music from Final Fantasy for the 1st RPG.

Just saying.

I like these ideas. Characters should get their own themes. Soembody already suggested Poirot's theme for him, and Holmes NEEDS some violin somewhere. This for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EQ6eHeBrhM

I am also on a quest to add more songs. Including the following:

For the metaguards and general characters
War of Change, Thousand Foot Krutch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_Ub6pW71Zs
Never Ending tory, Within Temptation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8rDiTVQ5AE
Epilogue, Helluvite: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5b_UNEylHsM

There are two versions of "War of Change" in there. (Not like I'm complaining, it's a great song. )

Also, all the earworms in one convenient place. My heart is filled with joy. :D :gurt:

Well, removed one for duplicity. But there's plenty of room for more songs people... I'll add some of my own later too. But we're at about halfway to the cap yet.

Well, if anyone likes piano, this is the song I'm playing at the moment. Catchy, huh?

I heard it, but I didn't like it that much. I think some notes are too loud for piano. Maybe in another intrument.

That song wouldn't work on another instrument NEARLY as well. And what do you mean too loud for piano? That doesn't make sense to me...

I don't like how some notes sounds. They sound too loud. Maybe it's the recording that makes them sound umpleasing. Maybe on live it sounds better. But I don't know piano well, so I have no idea what I'm saying.

Ooooooh I think I know what you mean. That's just cause of the recording, yeah.
