Two Truths One Lie

Postby AceOfSpades on Mon Oct 15, 2012 3:08 am

This is a simple game, I believe as kids we all played in one point of our lives. However those that didn't let me tell you the rule: The object is you say 2 things about yourself that are true and one that is a lie and we have to guess which one is the lie. I'll start first: I believe in the paranormal, I love the fictional universe, I hate card games.

Yes I must agree with... um... Fluttershy, you are lying about disliking card games.

Okay how's this:

* One of my good friends is a goat farmer in Tasmania.
* My grandmother's name is, as a matter of fact, Edwina
* I live on the site of an ancient Medieval chicken farm and keep expecting to see ghostly hens everywhere I look.
They sometimes say, "the place where I am right now was circled on a map for me"... Unfortunately, I kind of suck at orienteering.

That's the lie. If only because I never saw you imitate her in the pony thread.

Here's mine:

  • I play more than one type of instrument.
  • I love reading.
  • I am a fan of soccer/football.

I say that's the lie, only because I don't know what it even is...

I think that's false, because I think it's a trick comment. You're clearly a fan but I suspect you think somepony else is best pony and would rather have a plushie of them.

No, that's true! Rainbow is my second favorite pony, and she has the best plashes made.

Try again.

It's a fair enough assumption though, since he believes the overwhelming lie that Twilight Sparkle is best pony *scoffs*
The voices in my head tell me that we saved the world. However, they also told me that George Clooney's face is on the dollar bill, so... meh. The voices are more fun, anyway.

All right, people, I know it's Off Topic, but let's try to focus.

Hmmm... so out of Finch's remaining two, we have an outlandish one, and a mundane one. The outlandish one is the obvious lie, since it's less likely to be true, but it's also the obvious decoy, to set up for the surprise of the mundane one being false... hmmm...

I'm gonna go with...

Sigh. Why must we feel forced to choose between ponies? Can we not live in the spirit of this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8tVoriImK8
