Please move if it is. But this whole thing reminds me of this following piece of work. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/They_Might_Be_Giants_(film) Specifically regarding Holmes and Quxiote.

Well, yeah, it mentions both Holmes (the guy thinks he's Holmes) and Quixote (the name of the movie). I don't really think it's related, but I can see where you're coming from :)

Coincidentally, I made a reference in a Quixote-proofing label. ;)

I didn't really mean anything - I didn't watch the movie, and didn't listen to the band. :) I just knew that there's a title like that, and thought it would be appropriate. Turned out, it's even more appropriate than I expected.

Well it's not exactly just about Holmes or Quixote, but the whole aspect fictionals that came from old timelines coming here in modern day. In this case through a man who thinks he is Holmes.

Not to mention the therepist is similar to the psychiatrist trying to help "Holmes."

Maybe things like this are where the whole wall breaking down thing began, though? Reimaginings. Recreations. Things that changed the rules just enough that the walls had to change and adapt with it?

Maybe the wall has been broken the whole time and we as a race have adapted to certain possiblilties. Back in the ancient times it was often considered act of god or work of the devil. Flash forward a few thousand years and blamed on witch craft. The previous 2 centuries it was blamed on insanity.

And now, humanity has ran out of excuses of things that can't be explained by simple logistics or scapegoats.

...Creepy, but possible.

Well, in that scenario we might as well leave it as it is, right?
Considering that we may not (at least if we trust Mr. A), at least something is different now.

Found something else that's at least a little bit weird and "They Might Be Giants"-related.
There's all this stuff going on in New York, right? Cinderella, Poirot and Holmes are both there, and not one but two echoes have shown up in NYC.
Now, there's a trope about that.
Check the page quote.

The band that wrote that quote was inspired by the movie.
