Okay, thanks guys, I think I pretty much agree with all of you. This is about embracing a challenge, and what if I were to delete one of those scenes and find it useful later? I mean, they're always going o about how you should be ruthless with your writing and cut anything that doesn't add to the story, but they probably don't mean at the FIRST draft. How much potential would be lost if I did that?
