History Repeating Itself in the Form of Death

In the late Medieval times, a movement began in the populace of Europe between 1300 and 1500. The movement was a concept on the universality of death and had become popular as the Dance of Death. The Dance of Death was a pretty simple concept of death. It stated that no matter what you do or how you are, the dance of death will unite all. It was made to remind people of the time how fragile their lives were and of the pointlessness of the glories of earthly life. That no matter what you do, you will be a corpse sooner or later.

Why is history repeating itself you ask? Simple. The YOLO campaign. This campaign reminds people that they only have one life but in a more positive note than before. It has become a positive hybrid encouraging people to live their lives to the fullest rather than waste the time they have.

Discuss the Danse Macabre.

Um, it goes back a little further than you are suggesting.

They are all related and my point still stands anyways.

I know very little about the dance of death but what I do nknow suggests to me a certain wry humour in peoples responses to it, The diea that no matter if you're rich poor, good or bad, in the end... everyone ends up a skeleton, and there's value in the life we live NOW.

Or, as Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman might have put it in Good Omens "If you stop telling people it'll all be sorted when they're dead they might start doing something about it NOW."
