I also remember having one of those waking-dreams when I was about... twelve or so? Not lucid dreaming, really, it was just like I was asleep for just a few seconds and actually managed to dream in those seconds, even though usually you have to get to stage 4 REM to do that? I went from being in bed, to being on the floor of my room - it even felt like carpet, and some kind of weird muppet-like thing on the other side of the room looking at me, one of those ones where the puppet's head is almost entirely round and split into a wide mouth along the middle? I think I said hello, and it started snapping it's jaw at me and I was so freaked out I woke right up.
It must've left an impression if I still remember it all these years later, I guess. Certain puppet-based shows still bother me. But then I guess a lot of people are freaked out by puppets.

You like trains, don't you Scarab?
But yeah, that is really weird.

Is it that obvious? XD Mostly because we didn't go on them very often, I think, so it was kind of a treat.

I think the point is that everyone is about to be run over by a giant steam engine a la asdf movie.

Oh... Right.
We will all die the way we lived -racing into metaphorical dark tunnels without knowing exactly what we're going into or what might be coming at us from the other side.OH BOY HERE WE G- (TRAIN'ED)
Well you sure managed to steamroll that topic

YYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!
All aboooooard this thread!
Recurring dreams are often a symbol of a lost memory or a symbol of destiny in the standard form. A train is a transport, and depending on the track lining and the locomotive, it goes either both ways or one way.

Well, sometimes, when entering a conversation, I suddenly know exactly what everyone will say and how they will react, and I get this massive sense of dejavu, along with a really clear mental image of me going through the event in my memories, but then the moment the conversation ends or the topic changes, the feeling vanishes and I can't ever remember quite where it came from; if it was because something similar happened, or a dream, or what

I often consider lucid dreams to be a bridge between one world to another. Think about it, the more aware of our dreams we get the more real it seems no matter how weird it is.
