Soooo.......I'm a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh, personally, although I did play and collect Pokemon when I was younger (Still have a bunch of the cards). Never really wanted to get into any other one, although I've played the WoW one and Magic a couple of times.

I've read some of the Yu-Gi-Oh manga and watched some of the anime, but I never finished it. For my own amusement, I once bought a premade deck of cards for the game, one of the more recent, gimmick-full, dragon based ones. Something about equipping dragons to each other or somesuch. Forgot the name of the deck, but I played my brother about 150 times with a 100% victory rate due to the insane gambits possible with that deck... He got so pissed off at me that he refused to play with me any more, so that was the end of that...

I played YuGiOh extensively as a child. I only dropped it because we kept moving (Navy brat, ho) and there was no one around to play it with me any more. I kinda-sorta collected Pokemon cards, too, but the most vivid memory I have is losing my Entei card in the window slot of my mom's oldest car. Like the sold ten years ago, car. Yeah.
The voices in my head tell me that we saved the world. However, they also told me that George Clooney's face is on the dollar bill, so... meh. The voices are more fun, anyway.

I was one of those people who enjoed collecting cards, and I sort of knew how to play YuGiOh but I woud never say I fully grasped the gameplay. Mostly I just liked the way the cards looked and liked the idea of people creating their own decks to suit their personalities like in the anime. I used to pick out cards for my friends that I think suited them (The person who was the Mind on Air card was perhaps not best pleased... I dunnp why I thought that card was epic.) ^_^
They sometimes say, "the place where I am right now was circled on a map for me"... Unfortunately, I kind of suck at orienteering.

I have a LOT of YuGiOh! cards, but when I was a child I never had anyone to play with. When I finally found someone to play with, I usually lost in the third round, because I never got any good cards (most of times, high level monsters or no monsters at all). Once I had a few MAGIC cards, but I didn't know what they were at the time, so I disregarded. But the artwork was good.

Did you have "The Epically Awesome Binder of All My Super-Awesome Rare Cards"? 8-)

Well I have two of the Egyptian Gods (one was lost :( ), the Five-Headed God Dragon, the Fusion Field, that card that ressurects monsters, the Lava Golem and a few others that I don't remember by name.

I have 6 Yu-Gi-Oh decks. In no particular order, they are:

WATER
WIND/LIGHT
Machine/Plant

Putting this link from the chatbox here so I can remember it. Thanks to Krika for posting it. Maybe I will create an account and start being pure evil again when my mind reboots. Too tired right now. I wonder if I still have the knack for this game...

Funnily enough, I was just playing the old Pokémon Trading Card Game for the Game Boy. That game was the shit. I always preferred the video games to the actual cards since the cards were way easier to lose.
Not a distress call. Honest.

I'd spar against you if you want to. I'm not that great, nor do I really have any powerful decks ready.

Well, maybe sometime. I'll need to brush up on the rules. I forgot most of them. XD

Fair warning, though, I made Mimsy ragequit REALLY hard after about a week, and he is pretty good himself. It's why I stopped playing. No one to actually play against. :(

Well, now that the GMs are into the action, any of them play? Because I'd love to match anyone.

Well, seeing that this particular thread is in offtopic, I don't think they'll hop in here unless directed to it. So perhaps you should ask in "General"?

Or say, create a General thread linking to all "favorite X"-type topics so that they know which ones they could pop in.

Though they've popped in Disney's thread.

But they're the ones who created it. =P
Splitting from a General topic that derailed too far. xD

Well, this is really an off-topic thread, and question, so I don't really know if there's any way to ask it outside :|
