My favorite moment in Homestuck was actually when we finally got back to the original four kids after the long troll introduction. It just felt great to see the characters that got me so interested in the story in the first place BACK into the spotlight.

Yeah I like the trolls and everything (well, some of them) but it just completely cut a hole in the middle of the story for me. Then again I guess he had to introduce them somehow.

The switch to the post-scratch universe, however... Still not sure how I feel about that, although I think I like the kids. I never really got the whole ghostline genes thing.

And the first intermission drove me mad because I didn't actually read it thinking it was exactly what it said it was - an intermission. I mean damn it, Hussie, at least teall us if stuff is gonna be important later on...

Yeah, the whole troll thing really brought the comic to a complete halt. Personally I wasn't as big on it as most people were, but it did have its moments. The first intermission I followed, since it brought back the silliness of Problem Sleuth (which was the comic that brought me to his site in the first place) but I can understand getting ticked off when it ended up being super important.

I still havent read Problem Sleuth because I think it's too big (says the guy who started to read Homestuck when it had more than 6000 pages)
I also like the first acts because of all the alchemization and stuff.

As lovely as it is that you made a Homestuck thread, it is far too tempting to just read the whole thing. I nearly screamed when I spoilered myself about Dirk's head or whatever. I only have, like, a thousand pages left and I had to go and--! *strangles herself with a pillow*

Voice from Above: YOU WERE WARNED, MOTHERF**KER, DIDN'T WE TELL YOU!? JEGUS, FOLKS JUST DON'T LISTEN...

THEY WARNED YOU.

But yeah. The head that was... okay this whole thing has been the epitome of weird, but the head was just that one little bit that apparantly pushed sanity over the edge for me. I started laughing very loudly and could not stop.

Weirdest and most romantic moment between awkward fifteen year olds in stupid headgear and with robots and volcanos ever.

Not to say the best gambit ever pulled by a sarcastic robot-engineering prodig teen rapper.

Really faithful gambit too. Kid bet an awful lot on that kiss. Like, EVERYTHING. Kinda heartwarming that he trusted his friends that much. Prince of Heart, anyone?

But right now I'm impatient to GET somewhere already. All these deream bubble shenanigans...

Oh, I hope he doesn't. I've been waiting for this since... ever. And I'm dutifully ignoring the fact that I haven't even known these characters for more than two weeks.

Oh, he's gunna. You both KNOW he's gunna. If he doesn't I will be infinitely surprised. You guys played the dream bubble games, right?

Damn it, one of these days I'm going to get the hang of this whole quadrant thing

I'm getting the quadrants, a little, if only through constant reflection and a visit to the Wiki page.

Spades - True Hate, I equate it to angry sex, but without the sex; "Kismesis"
Hearts - True Love, the closest thing they have to our romance; "Matesprits"
Diamonds - Soulmates, and the closest thing they have to sibling love; "Moirails"
Clubs - Three way relationship, where two could easily form a kismesisitude but to do so would ruin other relationships and/or put everything out of order, so a third person mediates between them; "Auspistice"

See you put it in much plainer English than Hussie did.

...Kanaya's right, that IS the hardest of the quadrants.

And yet, she seems to have the most experience with it and has the urge several times to form an ashen-relationship with two quarreling people. Like when Dave and Karkat had their sort-of fight on the meteor over Terezi.

Think that's still a sort of fight or are ALL the kids getting the hang of this quadrant thing? Because I still consider those three one of the scariest pairings... tripletings... whatevering', in the history of forever.

Which set? Dave/Karkat/Terezi, or Dave/Karkat/Kanaya? Because I don't think either would work out. Karkat wants that switching-reacharound thing for the former and Dave can't handle that, and I don't think they hate each other enough for the latter to be relevant. Plus I think if Dave and Karkat ever had a thing, it'd be more pale than anything else.

The first one, but you're right, neither of them really work particualrly well in the long term. Or short term. or any term whatsoever really.

I always feel sad for John and Vriska, though. Especially since it took so long for him to actually learn of her death. I don't quite get why Jade never told him in the two years they've been travelling together so far.
