Ah, that explains it. I'm confined to my iPad and Xoom, so no Flash stuff allowed for me.

And now I'm on one of my library's computers and I'm making this huge effort to not laugh... out loud, at least. I probably looked like I was having a seizure in my efforts to stay quiet.

Just finished Chapter 5. Think I will call it quits here. Don't really care to go through it all again with three different characters.

I actually felt the same way when Act 6 started, but I wound up enjoying it a lot more than I was expecting it to.
Just a note. No pressure.

Eh maybe I would. Except in my mind I can end with Chapter Five and feel like it is an ending. Kids blew up the Green Sun. Jack is powerless. They all died. Not the best ending. But cut out the Lord English stuff and you could call it quits there.

Meh, it's up to you, ultimately. I wouldn't recommend cutting out halfway through the story simply because its reached a climax (as opposed to the climax), but we can't make you keep reading. *shrugs*

...um, Xana, are you sure you watched Cascade closely enough? The Green Sun still exists. Jack is still active. The kids are all alive. There's about twenty other plot threads that have yet to be resolved.
...or are you just pretending in order to call it quits? It's kinda unclear. :\

Yeah, Endless has a point here. Is that your headcanon or what? :S

Possible I wasn't looking enough. I tend to do other things when I watch/read Homestuck so I might have just looked away at the wrong moment.

Honestly I've had huge fatigue with this series ever since the beginning of act 5. Going so in-depth with trolls really drained me, and it didn't help that I don't really like the majority of them. However, I've gone this far into the series, so I plan on seeing it to the end, I just preferred the more focused cast in the beginning.
I miss the days of problem sleuth, everything was so much simpler

(and even then, not really)

Darn it Adell. Your words of strength and courage have challenged me to continue. Darn you and your words.

M'yeah, he does that.
Anyway that's basically how I feel baout Homestuck right now too. I'm all up for developing the cast and complicated storylines, but the whole 'a billion alternate versions of each troll' thing is seriously starting to get kinda old.

So I think it is safe to say I hate all of the new kids for many reasons. No longer do I dislike chapter 6 stuff because it just doesn't have the old guys. But because the new people are all really unlikable.

Remember: most, if not all, pre-scratch trolls were made to be disliked.

Eh it wasn't like John was wrong in saying she was too unstable to bring back.
Also I have decided I want to write a one shot Homestuck Fanfic showing the kids arriving and having to put an end to Beck Noir. I am kind of imaging John having to hold him off with the help up the new white queen well Jade goes to get everyone else. Of course Noir would kick their asses after a well held defense but then they all come together to finally put an end to him. Could be a fun project at least.

I wasn't refering to that. I actually agree with John on that one, I think.

Well she did mind rape the entire afterlife to follow her orders. Someone that dangerous with that loose of morals would have been too deadly to bring along.

Considering troll morality to begin with, Vriska's not the worst of the bunch, really.

... She already killed dozen of dozen of trolls before starting SGRUB, that argument is very old...

And yet still very effective when you think about it. At least the other trolls have had three years of human contact to work off. She has been doing her own crazy troll thing for untold number of years.
Edit: Also killing just leaves you dead. She is taking control of peoples afterlives and using them against their wills

Also, the line
"And you don't have to 8e a good person to 8e a hero is..." distinctively flawed, so far as my understanding of morality goes.
