With the way he expressed the desire to meet her even if the distance meant they probably wouldn't work out and kept talking about her in the present tense? I don't think so. Plus her responses were always too loaded for it, even the '...'
The voices in my head tell me that we saved the world. However, they also told me that George Clooney's face is on the dollar bill, so... meh. The voices are more fun, anyway.

Oh. Yeah. I guess she just didn't wanna quell any lingering hope or something. These kids are pretty much the masters of really poor communication getting everyone screwed over (except when drunk, apparantly)

I know, right? Luckily I didn't even see the 'Spoiler Warning' text and just opened the dialog. I just sat with a mix of amusement and annoyance the whole 90 seconds.

That was... I didn't spend 90 seconds watching it. Once the numbers slowed down, I tabbed away and intended to tab back once I heard music. But I didn't hear music. I tabbed back. 98%. Tabbed away again. Tabbed back a while later. What... loading again? Did something go wrong? I guess it started over. Huh. Okay, I'll just read the spoiler text, 'cause apparently this is taking forever...

I have gotten the the point now where I always inspect anything that implies it's going to be a flash. He's not fooling me again after I sat staring at one for about five minutes the last time he pulled that trick.

AND NOW WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE ANIMATION :x

If it's any good, it's gonna be awhile, according to the trope page.

Sigh. yeah I know, and really I shouldn't complain, the animations are usually the ONLY thing we have to wait any length of time for with this webcomic. And they're usually pretty damn good.

He actually never got me with one of these fake-outs before. The spoiler warning was the detail that did it for me. Though in retrospect, he's never posted a spoiler warning like that before, so it should've made me suspicious. But I fell for it.

He did one when Calliope appeared for the first time.

Did he? I don't recall...

By first time, I mean on the day he posted Calliope's true face, he left a link to the image that should be used instead of her true pic. But it was taken away when the next panel was updated.

Actually I expect him to come up with an even better music. BTW, he hasn't updated in 3 days. Whatever is coming, it's HUGE

Well. I just looked at the dates on the archive and there was a 7 week gap before the pages leading up to Cascade. So... maybe not quite that epic, but I'm excited all the same.

Yeah I think that huge gap was also just so they could take a break or something, and they were no doubt preparing for the kickstarter and so on (my god over 2 million I still can't believe that)...

I wish I could have helped on that. Well, knowing Hussie, this could even come as plot later

With all my Homestuck music browsing, I now have the acapella version of I'm a Member of the Midnight Crew stuck in my head.

And I finally found out that the music piece that keeps repeating when you play as Rose in Openbound part 3 is a snippet of Orchid Horror. Now I don't have to replay the whole thing just to get to Rose and just have her sit there while I listen to the music over and over. :D :D :D

The building that houses the servers is flooded and has no power. (I think he posted this on Twitter or Tumblr or something.) It's Sandy's fault. The site will be back eventually, but there's a LOT of damage that needs to be repaired from that storm so I'm guessing it could take a while.
