So... Let me get this straight... Hussie just made Homestuck fanon an integral part of Homestuck canon? O.o

I wouldn't think of it that way... more that there's a place for Hussie-approved Homestuck stories created by a wider pool of people than just himself.

So, let's see if I get it... I mean, I'm not caught up in all of it, as far as recall I'm stuck somewhere around the time when the kids enter the game and that first intermission that shows the Midnight Crew vs. Lord English's timescrew team or something not at all like what I remember, anyhow, that's besides the point...

Homestuck entered a hiatus for just about one whole year, only to finally update sometime around last week and then suddenly "end" in this Game Over?



Considering we're talking about Andrew Hussie here, this could well enough be legit, you know? Or he might pull of a failure at failing and Game Over the Game Over screen because reasons.

It's not the end. It's just serious shit. And probably (hopefully) not the alpha timeline.

Death is fairly meaningless in this comic, so I'm not really freaking out, but still a pretty epic flash. Too bad I can't follow what's going on at all XD

Far as I can tell, practically everyone's fucking dead. Which, admittedly, is par for the course with this series, but god fucking damn it, we waited a year for this and Hussie will seriously have fans after his blood if shit doesn't get better really fucking soon.

For things to be more satisfying when they get better or to get practice dodging the pitchforks?

He said that he had this part mostly ready before the break, but that even he isn't cruel enough to leave the fans hanging on that note for a year.

It's more that he's leaving it on this note at all really, but I can appreciate the thought regardless.

I haven't had time for a reread either, but all I really needed to remember was that this was basically a Mexican Standoff consisting of about a dozen people, John's still stuck in insta-transport mode, the Aces were trying to do something with Jade's body (likely save her) while Dave thought they were gonna hurt her further and followed them, and Aranea's gone batshit.
