Dude, talking to the spammers never works. If anything, we should tell Ed to get a more secure captcha. I've checked the one that's used now, and it sucks cybernetic balls. Hell, I could crack it if I wanted to.

It looks like this time a single spammer just made loads of topics all in one run. Before, it's pretty much just been one at a time...

That's because they're normally banned straight away, but Ed's not on atm.

Um. I'm not sure what you mean. I've checked the captcha. It sucks and is crackable with 100% probability after the algorithm is implemented. I can't do anything about it, I'm not an admin.

And Dryu is right... The current Captha is way to easy for a computer. Some granulation and all, but the chars themselves suffer no distortion whatsoever... Any OCR algorithm should be able to crack it with some simple filter to raise contrast.

Ed, we need a better Captcha... The forum will be overrun if this is let as is.
