We should probably invite her to our secure IRC channel. She's the only person we can trust at this point.

Huh, she has a gender now?

I'm assuming she's referring to herself here? (Otherwise, who the heck is Jane MacGonagle?"

Possibly
this dashing young lady, who has directed several ARGs before.
(Personally, I don't see any particular reason for the teacher to refer to themselves in the third person there, because they don't do it anywhere else in the document.)

...In which case, the reference makes really no sense, since the teacher doesn't seem to think that it's a game. The plot thickens.
(Although considering the teacher is CRAZY there's really no reason for her NOT to randomly refer to herself in third person)

I've already mentioned that woman. It would make sense for the Tinfoil Hat guy (I'm not even sure if he's a teacher as you often say - all (s)he says is that "I used to teach", which could just as well mean his rants) to mention her, because all that ARG discussion may involve passages like "the game invades reality", "making fiction come to life", and other metafictional stuff, which the guy could have taken at face value. I'm not sure, really, I haven't read her books.

By the way guys, just so you know, I can prove my innocence.
Do you really think James Moriarty would play TWO forum RPGs? And how do you explain Mimsy, who ONLY plays the RPGs, and knows Japanese?

Aha! This is just a clever bit of misdirection! You can't fool me, Moriarty. I'm onto you.

He's obviously Erik.
Because the Phantom wants to subsume his personality by being someone else-- hence the RPing-- and he's clearly good with languages, since he's fluent in at least Hindu, French, and Italian, so why not Japanese as well?
...Now to find the forum members who are Morgana and Juan, and we can move on to our next step of my plan to prevent them from hearing top-secret information.

Morgana should be easy. There's only like nine women registered here.
Because none of us could possibly be lying about our gender.

It's very suspicious that you remembered right off the bat how many women are on the boards.
Because you couldn't have just checked the thread about that, or just... remembered. Therefore, you must be Morgana; this is your Suspiciously Specific Denial.
Success is almost mine! Now all I have to do is find Don Juan...

Correct. It should be simple to follow the trail of a ladies man, and of course no one lies about their gender, therefore only one in nine can be Morgana.

Don't go with the whole blame game thing though. then nothing will get accomplished, and the bad guys WILL win.

Who was the guy who tried to hit on a newcomer?

But wait people! If Jack is Morgana... Then Morgana has Mod Powers?! It should be simple for him to mess with our threads, so I'd call Jack as safe. (for now).

Who could be the Phantom?

It stands to reason that the Cabal tried extra hard to make sure that one of their number gets Mod status, so that they could have free reign over here. How do you think they managed to hack the site? (don't answer that)
I stand by Jack being Morgana until I see proof otherwise, or a more obvious suspect for her.

THESE FOUR METAGUARDS ARE REALLY THE CABAL. THEY MUST BE STOPPED.
To clarify: Moriarty is Sicon; Erik is Mimsy (he has to be one of them or why is he playing along with being Sicon's brother); Morgana is Jack; and Don Juan is S_o_S (what took him so long to get here?).

couldn't Morgana be Adell?

That's possible. But how far does Mod loyalty go? Why would Jack be covering for Adell if he's not one of the Cabal?
Forget S_o_S. Morgana's Adell; Jack's Don Juan.
Figures that both of our mods are actually with the enemy.

No, no: Don Juan is the Finch, he already tried to flirt with newcomers.
