About "quitting the ARG"

So by quitting the ARG do people mean they aren't going to come by the forum anymore and hang out with everyone? I understand not getting involved in the mystery solving and everything, but the off topic forum is still really fun and there are lots of cool people to talk to.

So I guess what I am asking why do people decide that quitting the forum is going to add more free time to their calendars? I am on the computer the same amount of time as usual so IDK. Anyone care to explain it?

Beats me, I'm afraid.

Although perhaps we should have a thread dedicated for those who actually MAY want to leave the ARG so they can specify exactly to what extent they are leaving (whether they're just off for a couple of weeks, or off altogether, or going into lurker mode, or whatever).

Yeah... I'm not the best person to ask about this, since I really don't HAVE much of a life... :?

Pretty much the same for me.

But I guess, yes, if I didn't leave the tab open on the forum I'd certainly have a lot more time to do other stuff... It's just whether or not you can do your other stuff and ignore all the red icons (OCD calling) in the main screen.

At least for me, the ARG does have me spending a lot more time on the computer than usual. Partly because of the unpredicatble updates, partly because it's really addictive and fun. But I have noticed that I'm avoiding scheduling after-school events in order to spend more time here. If I were to quit, I would have a lot more freedom in that respect.

He already did. This thread is an after effect of that. :(
