Do we need more moderators?

With the growing problem of bot posts on the rise what do you guys think?

We could use with a couple more, not too many.
Perhaps the kind of people from different countries and areas who could quickly block the bots before anyone selse even sees them but that just sounds silly.
But yeah we could use with a couple more.

Maybe you could take a look at the general timezones of the existing mods, then find some regular users who are on a completely different timezone and ask if they want to be mods. That would make things a bit more efficient, in theory.

Yes, we had about fifteen in the list the other day because it was at a time of day when none of the mods could logically be expected to be both here and conscious. Maybe we need just one more, and see how that goes...

You know what? Fine. I'm officially applying for the mod status. I'll try not to be too touchy about the threads and offtopics (especially considering that I'm not an angel when it comes to that
), but at least I'll be cleaning spam every now and then...

Really fun fact: Unread posts search shows me 6 spam topics. Made by 6 different users. This is getting beyond ridiculous...
And they are getting worse at that too. No longer trying to sell coffee or asking to be terminated, we're up to porn-ad spambots now.
