Most of us have accounts there anyway, and they have a chat system embedded into their app. No logs and whatnot but for whoever is there already, it's an option to chat outside of Neatchat. I also opened a Metaguard group, which no one ever uses.

But considering Neatchat is having a downtime, it's probably the less complicated option. That or Dolby, but Steam works on smartphones, so I'm making a note of it here.

Yep, at the very least.

You might want to download and install the application as well, as the chat interface is better from there than from a browser. There are some limitations as well, until you make your first purchase, but you can still use most of the resources even without that.

Honestly, it might not be worth the trouble if you're not interested in the gaming aspect. It's just that there are 16 of us there already. Either way, neatchat should be back within the day. This is just an option for until it does, not a full replacement.

I can't find you under that name either, it says "Showing 1 result out of 0", with no results on screen. But you should be able to enter now.

You seem to be appearing offline, if you're online I could invite you directly. But regardless of that, you should be able to join from your friends list.

Go into the Groups Tab, click the downward arrow and then "Join Group Chatroom."

So, according to that, I should be able to get you on-chat, provided I can see you being online. Even though you can't create a chatroom yourself.

The thing is, I can't see you being online at all. You don't appear in the Group list, and you're offline in my Friends list. And I have no idea why would that be.

Can't verify my e-mail address either. I'm gonna try installation or whatever it is, see if that's the issue.

Is Neatchat down? Isup.me says so, and I can't access it.
