Craziest way the game could end.

Anything goes.

Craziest way the game could end.

I thought it would be fun to throw out all of the crazy ways this thing could end. Personally I have a theory that the walls will crack and all of the smartest minds of all fictional worlds get together and fix it. Members who would be on this team would be.

The Doctor (Doctor Who)
Batman (Batman...)
Iron Man (Iron Man...)
Gandalf (Lord of the Rings)
Lelouch (Code Geass)
Dr. Eggman (sonic)

Craziest way this could end? They crib the ending of Earthworm Jim 2. Everyone is a cow.

There's no way the wall would fall. EC crew would go way beyond its budget if it had to make Eldritch Abominations all over the planet. :gurt:

My guess is quite simple: It ends with Zack returning to Echo Chamber (or more like "not leaving", because retcon). Because that's how season 3 is supposed to begin.

Craziest? With no time or money constraints?

Yeah that makes sense, but the thread is suppose to be madness not sense making.

The objective here is to go insane? Count me in!

I want a slow but utterly unstoppable crumbling of the Wall. A few characters stepping through at a time... Untill one of the Big Players decide to make an appearance: Sauron, Vader, Voldemort, Sephiroth... Well, any of the Big Ones would do. The point is: Once they step into our world we'll have the biggest mass Oh Crap ever.

Then, some of the Holy Heroes try to fight it off in the biggest Massive Crossover ever, as in, Kirby aganist The Sith and Red aganist ExDeath in a huge singularity that no one will ever be able to predict how will end!

Right off the top of my head, I'm thinking something along the lines of the ending of Sons of Liberty getting written into real life. And Then John Was A Raiden.
So, apparently I'm the sanest madman this side of the international date line. Seems legit.

At the very end of the game, all of us will look down and realize we're all wearing dog tags with something like "JERKFACE" written on them.

Craziest ending ever:

Poirot/Holmes become OTP. Mario crosses the wall, stomps on everyone's heads, and headbutts stone blocks for no reason. Mr Cake deliberately writes ARG fanfic to force ARG players themselves to cross the wall. Finally, everyone on the fictional side of the wall (including the ARG players) faces off against Mr A, since technically Mr A himself is fictional.

Mind Screw, anyone?

Not quite End of Evangelion, but sure, why not?

It turns out that by playing this game, we have all become canon to its story and therefore fictional. The fourth wall we're concerned with is actually one level down - a decoy to keep us from realizing that we've long since been trapped behind the true fourth wall. In order to return to reality, we can choose to break down the cracking wall further and enlist the help of the most powerful characters ever invented. But doing so comes with the risk of taking them with us into our actual reality.

BAD FUTURE: We somehow fail and the Wall breaks, causing chaos and disharmony throughout the land as the Real World tries to deal with the massive influx of fiction, eventually causing the fall of civilization as we know it?

GOOD FUTURE: We fix the Wall and return all of the Pieces of Fiction back to the Wall, and each of the characters responds to our actions in their worlds?

The moon shadow would cover the Earth from NY to Tokyo, then a giant orange portal would appear on its surface. A giant pig would pass through the portal and say: "That's all, folks!"
Dolphins are some of the smartest animals, yes, but by human standards… Let's say you should praise the god that forces them to stay handless and underwater.

Kinda going off of what ToMorning said, we're all fictional characters due to being involved in the ARG, and when we get to the other side of the wall, we all meet ourselves.

...Only they were ALSO fictional characters from the ARG. Cue endless recursiveness and infinite everyone.

Bloody heck, I have enough to deal with trying to handle just one of me XD
They sometimes say, "the place where I am right now was circled on a map for me"... Unfortunately, I kind of suck at orienteering.

Indeed, but also strangely fitting. I mean we ARE basically playing characters of ourselves right here, yeah? They just happen to be characters who, in many cases, match our real life identities. And the extent to which that is true probably changes from player to player, too...

Actually, in real life I'm a Deadpan Snarking cynic. If I met myself as a character in this ARG, would that mean I could do Tsukkomi on myself?
Normal people are the easiest to manipulate. Too smart and they have an annoying tendency to catch wind of your plans, too dumb and, in the words of a certain pirate, "You can never tell when they are about to do something incredibly...stupid."

...Maybe that's how the wall is breaking down. Some guy met their alternate fictional self and outsnarked themselves so badly the universe couldn't take it and started exploding?
