Hurricane Sandy Shout Out

Postby Scarab on Thu Nov 01, 2012 3:46 pm

I thought it’d be nice to make a post here for any users who have gotten caught up in this hurricane business. Unless you've been living under a rock for the last few days, you'll know the coast of America has been hit by something far more dangerous and damaging than hypothetical Reality Destroying Fictional Characters. You may also have noticed the absence of one or two members due to being in the path of said hurricane. Of course I’m sure these friends are all safe and well, albeit a bit pissed off at the weather, and in some cases, unable to get online due to a lack of power. Can’t hurt to shout out to them.

I’ve checked the list on site, and so far as I know the following people were in the path of Sandy to some degree or another, and thus may have suffered some housing damage: Adell, Wysp, Kirka. A lot of you are obviously still online and kicking and have presumably suffered reasonably little damage, so... yay! :D (Please help me out by adding anymore I’ve missed to this list, guys.)

So here’s a place to shout out for everyone who’s been indisposed by Sandy – they don’t have to be forum members, just anybody you know who you’d like to say a few good words to. Basically just a place to say 'hi, hope all is well', is all :)
They sometimes say, "the place where I am right now was circled on a map for me"... Unfortunately, I kind of suck at orienteering.

Hi, hope all is well
Take this :gurt: to protect you
Dolphins are some of the smartest animals, yes, but by human standards… Let's say you should praise the god that forces them to stay handless and underwater.
