Watch the Footage

Hey guys, as most of you know I was caught in the middle of Hurricane Sandy, and pretty much immediately lost power once the bulk of the storm had hit. While my house took some damage I am safe and unhurt. Unfortunately the majority of where I live is without power, and places that do have power don't have internet. I had to go quite a distance to actually find a place with working internet, but I knew I at least needed to check in and let you guys know that I didn't die or anything dramatic like that. The issue of getting power back in my house is currently a big one, and I may be without internet for up to a month if things are as bad as they are saying they are.

In the meantime, though, it'll be up to you guys to keep up what you're doing and fix the wall. And it looks like we've actually got a means to send them back now, which is good. I believe in you guys, and will be back for good as soon as I can.

It's good to know that you're okay. Don't worry. We can defend the wall by ourselves.
But we can't defend ourselves from Spambots, though.

Though that's not to say we can do it as awesomely without you.

I'm back with an update. Currently my house is still without power and recovery in our county has been incredibly slow moving, I needed to once again go pretty far to get some reliable internet. I wouldn't say the damage to our area was severe, but a lot of power lines got knocked down and need some serious repair. We're finally transitioning back to classes and work again, but I guess things are gonna take time before I'll be reliably around, especially because now a Nor-easter is heading right for me. Don't worry, I'm making precautions to protect myself and family.

I'll be looking for a more secure area for internet in the next couple of days to try and at least do some catching up on what I've missed around here. Everyone keep up the good work, I have the up most faith in all of you.

So, let me get this straight. You all just got through ONE hurricane and now you have to sit out and wait for ANOTHER ONE?
