Dear Pyro,
In response to my comments about 9gag, I will give you my honest feelings about it: I think it's somewhat decent, but there are glaring problems.
The 4channer part of me doesn't like 9gag because they claim they made memes like the FUUUUUUUUUU- rage face, Advice Animals, and Bad Luck Brian. Also, the several times I went on there, they seemed to have no humorous content on there, and if it was humorous, it would be childish to me. They also seem to blatantly rip off the Rules of the internet with their own rules (Rules one and two primarily). It just feels lazy, not caring and dedicated like the rules were for 4chan
While I think that 9gag was a good attempt to bring the humor of the internet to the masses of the world, which is a good thing that should happen, I don't think that 9gag did it's very best to hit the full mark of success of a humor site like Cheezburger. It's somewhat like bowling: bowling 290/300 isn't a perfect game, you know, and not giving all of your effort won't make your website stand out. But, beside that, I can see how the site has it's own sense of humor and how that humor is funny to others, like you, Pyro, and I can respect that, but it's just not my cup of tea.
My cup just so happens to be Honey sweetened Lipton tea, 2 sugars.
I'm sorry if I offended you in any way, Pyro. Now can we please go back to Ponies?
-The Finch.
