Nope! At least with him you know what you're getting into - piss off the Hulk, he's going to just beat you with ridiculous force. On the other hand, piss off Holmes, who is "on the side of the angels, but should never be mistaken for one" and you have no idea what he'll do to you. But he will destroy you, or make you do it yourself somehow.

Fair point. However, it doesn't appear likely that the Hulk will cross over. If he tries, I'd like to watch Gurt & Co. try to stop him, but I think that it's an unlikely scenario.

Can probably kill you in at least seventeen different ways ranging from chemical poisoning, to shooting.
Can psychoanalyse you into a quivering heap on the floor if you have anything -anything!- worth hiding.
Knows Martial Arts
Is immune to feminine whiles and cute things.
Is actually HERE now.

My bets are on Holmes.

I'll hedge my bets and avoid pissing off either whenever possible.

In a choice where I would have to piss off Sherlock OR piss off Hulk, with only two options, I would probably try to play them against each other. Failing that... I would probably piss them BOTH off, in the hopes that they start fighting each other and forget me.

As of Cinematic Universe, Banner can track gamma rays, which you probably emit in miniscule amounts. Given that, the story may contain a sufficient Ass Pull where he tracks you by that trace radiation. No one said their logic has to make sense in our reality.
So, you have an always angry scientist with Superpowered Alter Ego who you happened to piss off, and he knows where you live.

You guys think he is insanely paranoid to a possibly unrealistic extent, but you know what? I can be as bad as him, if not WORSE. Holmes is on the other side of the country, I ALSO happen to be a crack shot and own MULTIPLE guns, and I just so happen to ALSO know martial arts, specifically a style that requires absolutely no physical effort whatsoever to hurl someone across the room, and can let me break every bone in your arm almost the moment you attack me if you don't know how to defend yourself.

No. NO. I don't think most people would prefer some unspecified long-term suffering. Hulk is instakill, that's a fact. Most people would be scared. And if you ask me, I'd prefer to try my luck (I wouldn't say "try to compete", because Holmes) against someone who wouldn't kill me right away. If anything, his revolver may jam as he tries to shoot me down with a last bullet in a dramatic manner.

I myself am confident that I'd have fun playing with Holmes. For a while. The problem is, I don't feel as if I can actually beat him, meaning that the best way to minimize suffering is to die quickly. Which is why if I must piss off one of the two, I'd rather get a quick death.

My real plan though? Steer clear of Hulk and never bother Holmes.

The thing with pissing off the Hulk is that once he's had a chance to calm down, he's unlikely to hold a grudge. You could run away, and while Bruce Banner might be able to find you, he probably won't want to track you down for revenge.

Pissing off Holmes seems more dangerous in the long term. If he was determined to seek revenge on you, he WOULD find a way. Sicon may feel safe from him, but I certainly wouldn't.

I really don't think Sicon would have a chance against Holmes XD I don't think any of us would. In fact, the actual Holmes would just deconstruct Sicon's confidence until he exploded. or imploded. or outploded.

(this is not a rub on you Sicon, more of a comment on underestimating holmes. In case it isn't obvious... I'll take Hulk, please. I can deal with dumb and strong. Not so well with someone who could tell how much money I have by looking at my eyebrows)

I know I'm not getting into the proper spirit of the thread here, but...
I think the real problem is ticking off a character controlled by the GMs. Since they don't need to use Holmes to get their revenge on the "guilty" party; they could use any other character, turn the whole game against him.

So if it's between ticking off Holmes or the Hulk... I'll pick whichever one's not being controlled by someone who can make my life (oops, I mean game) a living hell.
