Yet another gift from the minds in the chatroom, we bring you... the Metaguards' Cast Calculus!

It started off discussing who our opposite numbers, but it has... grown from that.

So this thread is for discussing us, the Metaguards, and who our opposites are, and what potential five (etc.)-man-band groupings are for us.

I will update this post with agreed-upon results as they are decided on in the thread.

Please understand that if a small number of people are listed in a grouping, that does not make them more relevant/important/whatever than their fellow Metaguards; it is simply that the three/four/five/whatever of them happen to fit the description for that dynamic. Similarly, Metaguards can of course appear on multiple lists, based on interactions with different groups of Metaguards.

• Qara (Red Oni) and Eli (Blue Oni)

• Eli (Distaff Counterpart) and Agora (Spear Counterpart)
• Qara (Distaff Counterpart) and Sicon (Spear Counterpart)

• Mimsy and Qara (the anti-Mimsy)

• The Smart Guy: Dryu
• The Hero: Sicon
• The Lancer: Qara
• The Big Guy: Scarab
• The Chick: Eli

Those Two Guys (1)

• Mimsy
• Krika

Family

• Team Mom: Isla
  Team Dad: Adell
  Cool Big Sis: Qara
  Big Brother Mentor: Sicon
  Aloof Big Brother: Shane

Yeeeeup, that sounds about right

I’m pretty sure Sicon and I have different methods, primarily we have a Heart vs. Head thing going (he operates on logic, I’m a lot more emotional about it), he’s technical and scientific while I’m more romantic and like glomping people, heck even a completely ridiculous situation like the Coffee Room has us taking on complete opposite elemental attributes...

He's still great fun to talk to, though

How does this even work?

I believe it's for finding opposing forces within the Metagaurds, and also for finding the groups formed (Five-Man Band, Power Trio, etc.)

It also works differently for everyone I would imagine. Everyone has different interactions and personal groups within the forum so everyone will have their own ideas about what works and what doesn't.

Dryu as the Smart Guy, Sicon as the Hero (well... he makes it his job to know EVERYTHING), I call The Lancer (I try. With reading the chatlogs and making evil plans and stuff), Scarab's the Big Guy (because she has all the power of her connections with the Witch), and Eli's the Chick (need I elaborate?).

I don't feel like I fit any cast calculus. and I am sadden by that fact

Eli and me are Vitriolic Best Buds. Other than that I'm too new here to have any relation to anyone. Is there a trope for the new guys? I guess I'm too old to be the Tagalong kid.
