Cool, right? This would be an awesome Game.

I looked at the consoles. If I had to choose, I'd pick either two of my favourites that I remember from my childhood- The Gameboy and the Gameboy Color.

But which one is better?

Can you guys help me?

And what would you guys pick?

Hmm well I was a sony Playstation girl growing up. before I had my own I would sit with my neighborus and watch them pllay Crash bandicoot and Spyro and things. When I got a playstation of my own Spyro was the first game I got, and that little purpose dragon was... basically my adolesence defined in scales. So if I had to pick? I'd say classic playstation every time :)

But I did own a really really old black and white gameboy and pokemon blue at one stage. That was pretty cool.

I'd have the GameCube controller, and I'd recommend the GBC. While the monochrome Game Boy had its perks, I think that color was a positive addition. I guess, in the end, it all depends on how retro you are feeling.

I discovered the miracle that was handheld gaming with the Gameboy Color. I didn't even know there was an original Gameboy until I saw one of my classmates playing with a bulkier, black-and-white version of mine. My mind being as limited as it was, I couldn't see the appeal and why in the world would you play Pokemon in black and white when you could have it in color!? :D :D :D :D

A black and white one was all I had. As I recall I bought it for a tenner off a boy at school. It only lasted about six months but darn, good times...

Yeah, my Color was my baby. I had lost the back of the battery case early, but my oh-so-inventive dad just gave me a piece of cardboard and duct-tape and I was the happiest little girl you could find that side of the Chesapeake. :D

Anything from Nintendo/Sega. All the other stuff seems to focus more on taking over all aspects of media entertainment, turning game systems into mini-pc's. Whilst Nintendo up until Wii-U has focused on the games.

1. Pong doesn't count as a console because. while it was the first game in the world, it was a single game when it first came out.
2. It was the first Arcade game as well.
3. The pong consoles you are referring to were both: knock offs of the original and multigame systems which featured the classic: Hockey and Soccer, editions in which the colour's of the screen and the speed of the pixel ball, were changed to make it look like it was played on different fields. These in effect were made after the odyssey.

There was a game before Pong.

Okay I actually got to play pong not too long ago at an anime convention and DAMN that game is actually hard to play O_o The con had all kinds of old fashioned games consoles from pretty much every era. It was fun!

I used to have Gameboy Advance, which I wound up losing.

I also used to have an XBOX but that became rather obsolete.

Now I just have a Wii, which is pretty neat.
