Theme Park Ideas
Every one of us has been to a theme park some time or another, Disneyland, Universal Studios, Six Flags, etc.
But sometimes, do you wish that there were stuff you could add to the park? Ideas for rides and things?
Well, now you can state your ideas here.
I bid you welcome to the Official Theme Park or Theme Park Ideas thread.
For example, I went to one of my favourite theme parks- Universal Studios Hollywood. It was pretty good, but there were some things missing. What had happened to the Universal Monsters? They should have had a ride of their own, not just the House of Horrors.
One of my ideas was a segment in the Studio Tour dedicated to the Universal Monsters. Starting with Dracula and ending with the Creature from the Black Lagoon.
For example, in the Dracula sequence, we could be on the ship, Vesta. Suddenly we see a sailor running, screaming " Help me!"
Then insane Renfield appears, laughs, and summons Dracula. We watch as he bites everyone on the ship, then, he turns to the cart. He covers his suit with his cape, and teleports in front of the first, second or third car, then attempts to bite someone, but luckily we speed away just in time.
For Frankenstein, we look down onto Henry Frankenstein's Laboratory, where he is bringing his monster to life. Then the It's alive moment. Suddenly we fast forward to a burning windmill, where the monster fights with his creator. Henry falls and is caught by the angry mob, unharmed, while we see the monster trapped in the flames, who then escapes. The train moves off as the flames get closer and closer.
In the Mummy sequence, we see Ralph reading from the Scroll of Thoth. The scene slowly moves on to the tomb, where Imhotep's eyes open. He gets up from his coffin and moves towards Ralph's tent. Then we see their silhouettes, with Imhotep touching the Scroll and Ralph screaming. The tram moves on until we arrive in an Egyptian temple. There is an enchanted pool, which comes to life and shows Imhotep's crime, and horrible punishment. We ride on until we see Imhotep, as Ardeth Bey, preparing to sacrifice Helen. Then the statue of Isis comes alive and kills him.
In the Invisible Man sequence, we stop by his room in the inn. He sees us, and a bunch of villagers and the policeman as well, who have come along as well. He becomes really angry and unwraps his bandages, then throws them at us. We leave as he attacks the terrified villagers with a book. We stop at a hut near a cliff, and say hello to the man controlling the tracks inside the hut. Then the door opens. He stops to look, then a window opens and a glass is thrown at the operator's head, making him topple to the floor. He is knocked out with an axe, and the Invisible Man appears, bandaged and in his dressing gown. He goes " MUHAHAHAHAHA!" and pulls the levers, sending a nearby train, and our train, crashing together and toppling off a cliff. While the steam train explodes, we roll safely to a halt, where we see police set a barn on fire, and shoot the Invisible Man, ending his reign of terror.
In the Bride of Frankenstein sequence, we see the Bride made, and meeting Frankenstein's Monster, who she rejects. The monster, angry and sad, prepares to pull a lever to blow the lab up, but before that, he tells Henry, and us, to run. " Go! You live!" he tells us. Henry runs out to reunite with Elizabeth, while we watch as Dr Pretorius, Igor, Frankie and the Bride are blown up with the tower, destroying it, while Henry and Elizabeth run away. Then an injured Frankenstein's Monster rises from the rubble, and offers his hand to the Bride, who he has been shielding. She gently accepts his hand, smiles and they both walk away into the mountains.
We move on to the Wolf Man sequence, where a bunch of villagers are marching to the forest with guns and torches. Suddenly, the Wolf Man jumps in front of us, and tries to attack the inhabitants on one of the carriages. ( Like Dracula, he climbs onto the carriage, but before he can eat someone, he jumps off as he sees the girl he loves. She screams and struggles as he tries to eat her, then we can only sadly watch as his own father beats the Wolf Man to death, who hits the ground and, to the shock and horror of the villagers, Gwen and his father, turns back into Larry Talbot.
Then, we arrive in the Paris Opera House, where an opera is being shown. The female lead steps in front of the stage and prepares to do her solo, but we see the chandelier slowly swinging. The Phantom is cutting it with a hacksaw! She screams as it falls down on us, and the whole Opera House is in a panic as the Opera House is set on fire. As the survivors put out the fire, and bodies are retrieved, the Phantom kidnaps Christine, and leads her down to his lair, where he plays The Lullaby of the Bells, and she sings. Then she rips off his mask, and we see his horrifically deformed face, with huge acid burns on the right face. Christine backs against the carriage, too horrified to scream, only shaking her head out of fear and pity, Suddenly the baritone and chief of Paris Police, who both love her, burst in and see the Phantom. The Phantom grabs his saber and starts to walk towards them, but the baritone blasts his Pistol into the air. At the same time, Paris Police use dynamite to blow up the roof of Erique's lair, causing a huge cave in. We escape with the baritone, Chief of Paris Police and Christine, as the Phantom shields himself from the falling rocks. We then see the ending to the 1943 Phantom of the Opera, and, after the two men go off, the Phantom, still holding a dusty, but still strong, saber, and mask less, run away, having survived the rocks.
Finally, we arrive at the Black Lagoon. Kay screams as Gill Man dives with her off the Rita, and we see her boyfriend and a fellow scientist dive underwater with spearguns to rescue her. The scientist is mauled to death, but not before giving the Creature severe injuries. Kay is rescued by her boyfriend, but Gill Man prepares to attack them both. Kay's boyfriend throws the Speargun to a random person in the audience, who shoots it and kills Gill Man. We go back up to the surface, and see the Rita sail away. But then, Gill Man, still alive, comes out of the water and climbs into the train, then dives back into the water.
There. My idea and the Wall of Text done.
