In other news, I went on an epic quest the other day. I grabbed as many swords as I could carry and ran madly off into the night, killing everything in my path. When dawn finally came, I had apparently killed my way through an abandoned village in Tibet and into a desert so far away from everything that YGGDRASIL was impossible to find without using coordinates, EVEN WITH FAR RENDERING. Long story short, I ended up stuck in a bunker made of sand with an Enderman who kept stealing my walls, and my loyal companion Tropey the Wonderdog. So, me and Tropey Walked the Earth for a while until Sicon finally gave me the coordinates I needed to return to the Hourai Underworld, but, unfortunately, we were ambushed by Creepers and Tropey had to sacrifice himself. It was pretty badass, though. Creeper shows up out of nowhere and was about to kill me, then my dog comes leaping out of nowhere and tackles the Creeper into a nearby pit, then explodes along with him. Strangely enough, it happened exactly the moment the clock switched from 8:52 to 8:53, and my shuffle player had just given me Libera Me From Hell...

Long story short, I made it back in one piece.

Didn't you have a compass? You could've found your way back to spawn with that quite easily, much simpler than coordinates.

I want your guys opinion: Should I make a floating island in the sky, so I can have all the space I want to build whatever I want or should I planificate some of the desert (x: -643 and z: 64) and use it? I'd like some help for both, altough the first would be easier, I think...

Oh, hey, those coordinates are close to where I ended up during my journey with Tropey. X is the same, anyway, although Z is a little off.

Thread hop: I abandoned Scarab in the Nether last night. A bad combination of 4 AM, fragile bridge over lava, darkness and ghast's fireball.

Also, I seem to be the only one who doesn't have an obscene amount of precious stuff and pimped-out house yet. I'm terribly envious.

And, well, looks like the server hiccups every now and then. 90% of my RAM is occupied - nothing I can do about it.

If you can find my house there is a chest with some stuff on top of it. My house is in a forest, surrounded by slime and defended by a wall. It is the light in the dark.

Well luckily Pixel came valiantly to my rescue, though not until after I managed to take out twelve blazes, three wither skeletons and a lava slime.

Krika has a generator. You could use it.

Slow. It's faster to work making the Hell of Blazing Fires bigger, and that gets me more iron, coal, redstone and diamond. And yes, Scarab, the scale of my project is stupidly absurd.

And you could always find a faster generator. I think I can find one if I look right now.

There is a stash of dirt & stone where I'm going to build a mob farm. It's 7-8 o'clock from the meta-bunker, if you face the entrance, not that far away (30 seconds into the next biome). Just don't take everything, I've yet to build that farm.

Sorry, the server is not available today. I blame the network problems. Or the cats have eaten my cable again.

That's fine, as long as you do not go into the forest behind Scarab's tower... There are some trailheads I've set up in there that will lead you to where my project is and that will ruin the whole thing. TRUST me, you WANT to wait till I'm ready.

Does anyone play Survival Single Player?
I mean, now that the server is off for the moment I'd feel tempted to play some soloing... If you do, what do you guys have. (I have no SSP worlds, for now I guess.)

I have that save since autumn, when I last played.
I spent four fucking days looking for those fucking melon seeds in those fucking mines. And then my vacation was over.

Nah, I haven't played SSP in a while. But my Minecraft came with a SSP World that seems pretty nice. Anyways, I have a project for an adventure map, but since Minecraft updated, I thinking about starting it from scratch.

With everyone's permission I would like to build pathways, probably cobblestone, between all of our seperate houses on the game. I find some people are getting lost. I know compasses and maps will solve that problem but I still think it would be nice to connect all our homes and have signposts an' stuff like that.

I also plan to build a nice long railway line at some point, if anybody's interested?

Also, I apologize for the intermittent server access. First there was a power outage, then some other stuff I haven't even figured out properly...

I'm working on a tunnel network down at bedrockish layer to connect major points of interest to my place.
First project Is my place to Xana's and Eli's place. but it's not a connection to home, so to speak, it's more of a safe path to travel these great distances without risk of losing stuff and meeting creepers. Next I would for instance, make a tunnel to a big desert, so anyone can take a shovel and go for sand without gearing up for a full expedition and whatnot.

Direct connections between places with railroads and all would be quite nice as well.
