I'm sorry, everyone, for how I acted in chat last night. I know I probably sounded like a brat, and I kinda felt like one too, but my leaving was the only way I was going to keep from lashing out at people and sounding even worse.
The voices in my head tell me that we saved the world. However, they also told me that George Clooney's face is on the dollar bill, so... meh. The voices are more fun, anyway.

Yes, I was ill that night and in a bad mood, and I know I wasn't helping anything whatsoever, so it's partially my fault. Sorry.

Wanted to say sorry if I ever made people feel uncomfortable by making any sort of jokes or acting to crazy. Sometimes I do pretty stupid things just because but I don't mean any harm out of it. If I have offended anyone in the past I just simply wish to give out my apologies for whatever it is that I did. By the by this is not going to anyone in particular an is just a general apology for any things I might have done in the past, present, or future. Because I am human an will most likely frick up and not realize it.

Hello, this is Sam here, from the Neat Chat. Over these months, I have realized that people make mistakes. Everyone does. Over the course of two months I made six mistakes, each leading to a ban for a day. Eventually, I unintentionally made a Religious comment in your chat. I was quoting a weird Mark Twain show, and I said a part about an "Angel" named "Satan", which was a character in said show. I realize now how big that can affect people, and I am no longer obsessed with CreepyPasta. I am now against Trolling, Spamming, Bullying, you name it. You may be thinking, why even bother reading this. I will tell you why. I have matured. I have not been too inappropriate (unless with good friends, but that's what boys my age do), I have not done a single thing that I did in that chat room. I respect your decision to ban me. I deserved it. But, I am asking for an appeal because before, I was very immature. Now, however, I'm mature enough to know what's right, and what's wrong. What I did in that chat room was wrong. But what I am asking is to tie up losings, end this falling out, and do what's right in that room. Do everything I can to redeem myself. So please, give me one, and only one chance. Not two. I blew the first 6. But 7 is a lucky number. Please, be my lucky 7, and unban me.

Sincerely,
Sam Aiello

Here is the way I see it.

The chatroom is a place for the Metaguard community to gather. You are not a Metaguard, and you are not a member of our community. The place to start getting involved with this community is right here, on this forum. I view the chatroom very much as a secondary mode of interaction. If you want to get to know us, the place to start would be here. Make a post in the Introduction thread, which you'll find stickied at the top of Off-Topic. Read around a bit. Reply to threads you think are interesting. Get to know us.

Right now, I really don't understand WHY you want to show up in the chatroom. I go there because it's a place to talk to my friends. If I didn't know these people I wouldn't have any particular desire to talk to them. You don't know us, so why do you want to talk to us? I'm genuinely curious. And I suspect that, whatever your reason, it would be better served by spending lots of time on the forum first.

If you're not interested in this forum, then you're not interested in this community, and you have no place in the chatroom.

This is of course all my personal opinion and not necessarily representative of the Metaguard community as a whole.

I'm sorry for derailing the apology thread with a post that is not an apology. (Wait, now that there's an apology in my post is it no longer derailing? *head explodes*)

That's ok I think. Some apologies cause discussion. Also in short I agree with you 100%.

I would like to correct you on one point, Narra. Sam actually did begin to involve himself with the forum before his ban, and made an attempt to join the Floating Castle RP. He got set for a quest with agora, but they could not find time to meet, so they had to give that one up and wait for a new one. Before he got another, he was banned from neatchat. We actually already told him something similar, and him joining the forum and starting to look at the RPs and attempt to participate in them was a result of that.

Sorry for not being faster with my First RP post. It's been my turn for... a month? Has it been a month? Just about... Jesus... Anyway, I've had a lot of RL stuff going on, particularly this week. Remember my tweet about a big test coming up? Turns out this same week is home to not one test, but two, and two quizzes, and prep for two different oral presentations, and this Junior Dads ball I'm not even enthusiastic about, and if Thanksgiving break doesn't come faster I seriously think I'm gonna be guilty of murder soon.

But um... yeah, that's my life at the moment. The apology's sincere, even if it is buried under a lot of pointless complaining. :? Sorry.

Don't worry about it. We all have been getting weeks like that. Just get it handled, and then write when you are through.

Qara, Eli, Im' sorry if I started an argument last night, I didn't mean to, or... to imply that anybody's acting skills were subpar or anything. I should've had more sense than to try to discuss something when it was late, and I was sleep deprived.

I don't think my brain is doing me any mental favours, atm, and I'm not doing it any favours, either.

(I also apologise to Rick and Shane, who's phones MAY have vibrated themselves into fragments :? .)

I'd like to apologize to Pix and everyone else I got snippy with the other day. I've been dealing with finals and a lot of other issues, and I just exploded without provocation. I shouldn't have been taking that out on the chat. I'm not really in any place to insert myself into stuff like that, either, so I'll try to mind my own business and not get involved in chat mod stuff from now on.

Eli,

I’d like to apologise to you for getting smart mouthed (and then grouchy after you left) in the chat.

I know you’ve been having a tough time lately, you warned me as much that you were upset, and what you needed right then was for me to be a good friend in whatever way that manifested, be it listening to you, or keeping my mouth shut. In your mood I would’ve walked out on me, too.

And really, nobody can blame you for an innate desire to flame tumblr.

I was just stressing out over the plagiarism thing and forgot your RL problems because I was too busy freaking out over my own comparatively small concern, so I’m sorry.

...So that being a good friend thing I was talking about.

Is it too late for me to start over on that and try again, guys?

I swear to god I am the one who made this thread and I keep being the one who has to use it.
