1) There was a time when I would have turned up my nose. "Fanfiction?" this younger me would have scoffed. "Why not just write instead of using someone else's characters or setting?" That time is no more. I have seen the light. Fanfiction writing is a terrific exercise, as a lot of the worldbuilding work is done for you, and you can just focus on the story. I pony now.
2) I do not ship, though I occasionally shiptease.
