Pure, Crazy, Completely Unsupported Conspiracy theories!

Thanks largely to me The Chatroom has been giggling over the past, ooh, hour or so at these guys: http://www.applied-epistemology.org/messageboard.htm

It's hard to summarise their theories in one forum post, but if you believe parental love is a myth, Alfred the Great and George III never existed, Beowulf and Gildas are Tudor fakes, vitamins kill, mercury cures everything from autism to infrared radiation, dyslexia and cancer don't exist, Bonfire Night was a) Shakespeare's fault and b) a pagan festival, the Earth is flat (I SWEAR they seriously suggested that) and a plague of other utterly unsupported conspiracy theories, you'll LOVE this forum.

They have a rule which means you can't talk about it outside the cult- I mean, forum, so disseminate this as widely as you can.

Laconic: (and, in defence, if anyone can do concise posts (and/or offtopicism) THEY can.) Our Tinfoil Hat Guy would LOVE them.

I'm not sure why and for what purpose, but I have a feeling that all the posts are made by one person. :|
I have attempted to suppress my inner hyperspace future gardener crying out against all the injustice I am committing.

...Y'think?

I suspect it to be a mock account. I mean I know there's no end of craziness on the internet, but believing in ALL of those crazy theories at once is just... yeah that's a bit much for even our teacher friend.
They sometimes say, "the place where I am right now was circled on a map for me"... Unfortunately, I kind of suck at orienteering.

Vitamins have been scientifically proved to be good for you, actually. Only if you have too much does it cause harm.

Scarab, did you read my message by the way?

It's complicated enough, but I'm pretty sure it's not. Briefly, the main poster wrote a book, repeatedly referenced in the forum, which was reviewed seriously (by the New Scientist as 'useful'(!)) by many publications. I'm pretty sure it's real.

No, they think vitamins kill and mercury is the only thing good for you.
