To Joe, to Ed, to everyone's family and friends,

A merry Christmas and a happy New Year

And a special Happy Chinese New Year to Pyro

I hope I'm not sounding racist or something, sorry if I did, it wasn't my intention. And by that I mean it to Pyro and to any Jewish that might be reading this. Also, if you don't like any of these holidays, I'm sorry.

'Twas the day before Christmas,
And all 'cross the Wall,
There were celebrations
'Cause the Wall didn't fall.
The fictives were reficced
In their stories well known,
(Except for the Cabal,
Whose fates are unknown.)

And All of the Metaguards,
And all the Mr. As,
Were all celebrating
In their own special ways.
When all of the sudden,
Victin started a thread
That I saw near first thing
When I got out of bed.

The forum was active
On this holiday eve?
Why, this was a happening
I could scarcely believe!
But there was no mistaking
The recent posts list
Full of posts from the 'Guards
Just relieved to exist!

Thanks to last-minute actions
From Sic' and Adell
Who sent the Great Old One
And Witch back to hell.
The Wall didn't fall!
We have beaten the game!
So I thank those I know of you*
By your Metaguard names:

Thanks, Pyro, and Eli!
And Genndy, and Dryu!
Thanks, Qara, Narrative,
Agora, Tohrina, too!
We have reficced the fictives!
We have mended the Wall!
Now celebrate! Celebrate!
Celebrate, all!

As we all make our ways
Through the future uncertain,
We can look back on this
When we're scared, or we're hurtin'.
When we're not really sure:
Just what should we do?
We can ask "What would Adell,
What would Sicon do, too?"

And then, in that moment,
Our paths we will know:
What to say, who to see,
Which direction to go!
If we all got through this
Just from working together,
Then what's to be feared
From mere people or weather?

We have faced down Cthulhu
Put him back in his place!
After that there's no problems
From the mere human race.
Sicon took out a Witch!
We outfoxed Moriarty!
What could be left to do
But to get down and party?

Let's do so: be festive!
Have fun and be merry!
Let's make every day
Special, Extraordinary!
Let's all dance, and be silly,
And party, and cheer
Right on up through Christmas,
And right through the New Year!

Every day is a gift!
Every night an adventure!
When you think of just what
We all went through to get there.
So let me just finish
As per Christmas tradition
With a hug and a thanks
And with all my well wishin'.

*Okay, well, maybe not everyone I know. It's tough staying in the rhythm.
Also, I cut like four stanzas because I ran out of time.
Also also, sorry about the tortured couplets. Yes there are more than a few.
Also also also, if you don't have a happy holidays I will... something, I dunno. It's hard to make threats when deep down all you want is the person to be happy. Kind of ruins it.
