Oh... right

Um, well I think I made quite a few errors in the Cthulhu fic (which still somehow WON? :?) and there are bits I'm still unhappy with, sooo some general story-flow and not-sounding-corny-as-hell advice would be appreciated.

I only submitted the one refic for Sweeney Todd. Meant to do more, but life. It was posted to the therapist's blog under the same name as my forum name here. I would be interested in hearing a critique - I wish to develop as a writer.
Not a distress call. Honest.

I sent in a few stories. Some I spent more time and effort on than others, and it probably shows, but I'd like feedback.

Got a request from the friend who wrote Angel's initial story. The title of the file was "The Guardian"; his email is the tkeddo one. (I'd prefer not to post the entire thing on a publicly accessible forum without permission.)

I want to say again that reviewing fics was my absolute favorite part of the game. I hope this encourages those of you who might be on the fence to ask what we thought.

I cried so many times doing reading for the game... and some of the stories which didn't get accepted still made me tear up.

I can already guess what someone would say about that one metaguard fic I sent in for Medusa. It was thrown together in under thirty minutes and had no real character whatsoever because I literally didn't have TIME. I didn't write it to win, I wrote it because people wanted to see an epic battle against Medusa. With a rocket launcher. And a nuke. I just gave them something for their own amusement. ^_^
Normal people are the easiest to manipulate. Too smart and they have an annoying tendency to catch wind of your plans, too dumb and, in the words of a certain pirate, "You can never tell when they are about to do something incredibly...stupid."

Meh, didn't care. Was sleep deprived. Just was going on autopilot. Like I said, it was crap, but I didn't really care. The fight scene was at least OK.

Well, hate to break it to folks, but only one 'fic made me cry. But I used to be a professional critic, and I'm currently an editor. It's a well-known rule that your soul becomes a blackened husk when you do either profession.

In all seriousness, I will contribute some of my thoughts, although I want to be as fair as possible to the author, so I'm going to take time to reread each requested fic and come up with commentary that will be as productive as I can make it. Tom will have to bear with me; I'm going to take time to get that together for him to send to folks.
I smiled when the wall was built, for I knew we were creating something incredible. And I smiled when it cracked, for the world would soon see what we had wrought.

Um... I'd love feedback on any or all of the stuff I wrote, though I seem to recall there were a lot. All but one from qxzenith.
Though other than the songs and the villanelle, the only c!fic I took very seriously was the one I sent from steve.ehad...
Oh, and my one-word c!fic was from @DemosthenesWall...
(I'd also be happy for any feedback on the songs, of course, though there were a lot of them, if I recall, so if that's not possible, I understand. )
Oh, I just realized I sent the Todd poem as a blog comment under QXZenith. That should cover everything now. :?
