Watch the Footage

If the world is saved or the world ends either way this game will come to an end. The question for this topic is will we just part ways or do you plan to stay.

Without the rhyming speak after everything in this game is finished will there be a new forum for Echo Chamber and will you guys join it to keep up with the friends you have made here or will you fade back into lurking around tvtropes or posting in other forums.

I'll go back to what I was doing before the announcement and fade back into the shadows.

I intended to make an "after-party thread" on TV Tropes.
Also, talks like this never end well.

I was thinking of following each of you guys on Twitter, and you guys doing the same. We could see each other, talk about life events, and just have fun. We can meet each other on TV Tropes and start editing and having discussions. I never thought that our friendship could die away after the ARG.

I kind of don't know what I'd write into my twitter after the whole thing ends. I haven't even been updating my jabber status for months because of lack in activity.

Ain't nothing wrong with two am rambling thoughts. Never really thought about it, myself. I'm kind of taking this one step at a time. I guess if what we're watching is the beginning of the end of... well, everything, it might not be relevant.

Still, they say after you've faced destruction with somebody your paths are pretty much always intertwined in some way, so I don't think we could all just wander away completely and never think about each other, or this place ever again. We're tropers, we were already here, and that's not going to change just because we're not facing an End of Reality crisis.

I keep thinking of this line, I think it's from the bible or something: The place where I am right now was written on a map for me. I'm not actually a theist of any kind, but still, I fd it comforting to think that we've come to a place that was meant to be. Maybe to save the world or maybe just to... I don't know, catalogue it? That IS kinda what we're good at... At the risk of sounding corny... even if we do drift away, as people are wont to do, we'll know we had here, and now, and nothing can take that away.

I say after everything is over, we all head back to TVTropes and create a gigantic freaking page for the ARG mentioning every trope we can think of, then start entry pimping it under Web Original. Oh, and we vandalize each others troper pages a lot.

I think I'm already following most of you.

I don't see why we wouldn't keep a legendary thread going on TvTropes for ages to come after the game... And let's be honest guys. At this pacing we'll be here for a long time still. Many ideas may come up before the end.

21 more days guys... I know the game had to come to an end eventually but it feel like just yesterday it all started. It has been my pleasure. I hope this sight doesn't go down after the game has ended. Because I would miss getting to hang with all the friends I have met on here. But if the site does go down and we have no place to move to afterward then I would like it to be known that this was a blast, and thank you for proving that the internet wasn't just a place for trolls and idiots, that people could come together for a common goal.

My mind is full of YES.

I also kinda want to make a topic here later, so that I can show off mah writing and you guys can critique it. (Not to mention that for a while now, I've been going around asking my friends if they want to create characters for a faction in one particular story mythos I'm working on, and there's still three open slots. So if anyone's interested...)

As for me I'll just do what I normally do, hang out on TV Tropes, edit, post, have fun on the after party thread, wonder how the ARG would've went if we failed it... etc.

As for those wanting me to follow them, apparently there's such thing as a following limit. Which I hit.

I too concur with this idea. Additionally, we have already decided that those who can participate are going to ride the tram into Google's ARG as well, where we get to be the antagonists.

I imagine this forum will be locked and archived for viewing.

I can set another one up in ZetaBoards or something similar quite quickly and then tweak it to be whatever we decide it too if you guys want... It's not as good as a paid, dedicated forum like this one. But it sure is forum-y.

The chatroom stays as is, bookmark that and we keep that palce forever.

And lastly, I had a few ideas we could explore to make our own fan-continuity, like hosting or own "Wall Emergency of the Month", for instance. We don't need to split up, and about setting up our own forum, just tell me I should do it and I can get it up.
