Meet-ups

Postby Tom on Fri Dec 28, 2012 6:09 pm

This thread is for discussing potential meet-ups between players, puppetmasters, etc. We're pretty scattered, but some of us might be able to hang out and get coffee sometime. :gurt:

Raikes and I are in Seattle, for at least a while. I can't volunteer him, but I'd be up for meeting some of y'all.

Well I'm in the UK... so I have a similar problem to you... oh curse all this stuff taking place in that greatbig landmass on our left. Still if any of us are in the general area of each other at any point, meeting would be awesome.

Hey, SOS, wanna figure out an apt meeting point between the UK and N. Ireland and go get coffee sometime? :P

Well, I'm in Brazil, which means way out of reach. But let me know if any of you ever plan to do something under the scorching tropical sun. I'd certainly do my best to get involved. :)

And the scorching part is true. I warn you. It's hot down here the whole year!

I'd be totally cool with meeting folks in the Seattle area, although my knowledge of the bus system over there is limited and that's probably my only mode of transportation ATM.

In Rio it's only schorching during the summer. Who am I trying to deceive? It's like the AIR is lava, not the floor.

Now I'm picturing we as those badass rich groups from movies after they steal a bank or something, then they get a boat and starts to travel around, but decide to do One Last Job, so they start going to places and meeting other people to help in the crime.

Uh... would the slightly leaky large river boat with lots of chairs that they usually use to send tourists around the River Wear do? I'm pretty sure it has a bar... somewhere. :?

Most of you already know I'm from New Jersey. While I can't exactly leave on a whim, I'd be happy to meet any one of you guys if we planned it ahead of time.
If you ever need to ask the questions "Am I needed? Should I help them?" The answer is always yes. Always.

You can use the King County Merto County trip planner.

Okaaay if you wanna meet that many people we'd have to organize some kind of group location...

I vote for a ski lodge.

I'm in, skiing is AWESOME. (I have no sense of self preservation. Turning from side to side to slow my speed? SCREW THAT! Straight down the mountain all the way! Somehow I haven't died yet though. XD)

I'm all for a ski lodge. It's a logical meet-up location, and I can have hot chocolate! Not to mention that I can logically convince my family to go to a ski resort under completely false pretenses.
Apparently, slightly less weird than most of you.
