This is the new general-purpose Disney Channel thread, split from the Cheshire Family discussion. -JA

How'd you find the show? Do you have younger siblings or something?

I'm actually as delighted by this as I am baffled, for the record.

Yes, younger siblings. Plus I love the Disney Channel. Most of it. Don't judge me.

I once saw something on the Disney Channel about a bubble girl who went to high school and couldn't dry out cause she was a bubble.

NOBODY UNDERSTOOD THAT SHE WAS DIFFERENT

Speaking of the Disney Channel, Gravity Falls is pretty fantastic. That show better come back on.

I know what you're talking about, though the name escapes me. It was one of their TV movies about a girl from an alien race of bubble people who goes to Earth and becomes the sister of a human girl through marriage. The only thing I can really remember about it was that it was very dumb.

Don't worry. It's been renewed for a second season.

THANK FRAKING GOD. I was really, really worried for a bit that they were trying to kill it or something. It's in the running for my favorite animated series right now.

(Seriously, split this thread)

I'm really loving Gravity Falls. I'm also a huge Phineas and Ferb fanatic. The live action shows are okay, though I may give Girl Meets World a shot when it comes out.

Girl Meets World is getting quite a bit of hype. I have to confess to, uh, never watching the original >.>

Phineas and Ferb is amazing. It's also the only thing on the Disney Channel that I watch these days.

Only five episodes of Gravity Falls aired so far in my country, so I don't watch it. I sitll record them, but I don't watch.

I used to watch Phineas and Ferb, but they stopped airing new episodes, and I didn't like the third season.

I have not. Is it as good as Phineas and Ferb?

Can't say I've watched the Disney Channel for a long time, but I do miss a lot of shows from back when I was young, especially Fillmore. It was amazing. 70s cop show in a middle school. Genius.

Oh god, Fillmore, that was an awesome show :D Shame that the thing that made it so good was the thing a lot of the target audience didn't understand.

Personally I think it's much better. But I don't want to overhype it for you, it has just started and Phineas and Ferb has been running for a while.

I liked that show, but I think I'm in the part of the audience that Scarab's refering xD...

I think Fillmore is still on Disney Channel here sometimes. It's so damn cool xD It gave me kind of a What's With Andy vibe...
Also I'm a big Phineas and Ferb fan :D

The only things I've watched from Disney Channel so far are Phineas and Ferb and Earth's Mightiest Heroes. I only watch the stuff that's come out on Netflix Instant, since I don't own the channel.

The name of the silly movie I saw was Stepsister from Planet Weird, I think. Despite my apparent scorn for the concept, I shouldn't lie... even as a 13 year old boy, for whatever reason, I was glued to that goddamn TV.

Guilty pleasures!
