I suppose since this is the introduction, it can also be an outtroduction. I'll just say that I'm sorry and I'm leaving to return to lurking. It''s been nice to meet you all, but this is just a story to me, and the reader should not interact with the characters. I'm sorry for trying to be one of you, when I'm not. I'm not a metaguard. I wasn't here when everyone became a girl and I wasn't here when Adell risked his life against Cthulu. I wasn't here when you fought and I wasn't here when you celebrated. It seems my name was entirely apt. I am truly alone. I was never here. I'm sorry for being an attention whore. I'm sorry for wasting your time. And I'm sorry for writing this now, aware as I am of the consequences. Maybe I'll come back when I can be useful. When I can earn my place. I probably won't. But you're all still awesome. Keep smiling. Keep the insanity in the coffee room. Keep the fun on the chats. Keep going like I was never here. I know it won't be hard. Just forget about me, 'K? I'd delete my account but I don't know if that is possible, and if it is, how to do it. Just remember the best way to get Pixel-sempai to notice you is to rip the souls out of innocents and sing showtunes. Oh and of course giving him lots of Green Stuff. If you do that your Sempai is sure to notice you.

Yes. that Stella, in case any of you remember me. Although given that I've popped into the chat maybe twice in the three years since the ARG ended, I have no bloody idea if any of you will remember that. Sophie may have mentioned me on a couple of occasions. You get to blame her for my de-lurking...

For those of you who don't have any idea what I'm talking about, I first learnt about the ARG through Sophie, a few weeks before the ARG started. She told me that she was going to be a puppetmaster in an ARG that was starting soon, and gave me a demonstration of what she had learnt in order to make the phone systems happen, which was difficult because I had bugger all phone reception where we were at the time (somewhere close to Gatwick Airport; you'd think that airports would have good mobile coverage...). And then a few weeks later, she said this to me:

It was around this point that I decided that I wouldn't take part, largely because of difficulties wrapping my head around the idea of actually playing in an ARG. The idea still kinda breaks my brain just by thinking about it. But I did vaguely follow things, as they were happening. Sophie and I were a lot closer when the ARG ended in December, and I got to see "behind the scenes", as it came to a conclusion.

I never really got to experience what many people here did, but... standing on the wall, watching it all happen... especially in the last week, in that hotel room... It's still a fairly strong memory.

And... with strong persuasion from Sophie... I finally decided to pop in again. Except that chat seems to be a ghost town, so...
